Elisa wakes up to the sound of her loud, beast of a phone alarm. She groaned and tapped a button on her phone screen, not caring which one, just to get her phone to shut up. She looked at the time and date that was displayed on her screen: Thursday, May 28. The time read 7:30am. Rolling her eyes and taking a deep breath, she slowly got out of bed and headed for the shower before her sister, Julie, could.
The cool water felt refreshing to her pale skin as she splashed her face to help her wake up. Elisa then undressed and stepped into the shower, the warm water running down her body relaxed her before she washed her hair. Once out of the shower, she went back to her bedroom and picked out her outfit for the day. In this case it was a t-shirt with the Versace Logo on it, paired with some denim skinny jeans and a denim grey jacket. She curled her dyed blonde hair and finished up with black eyeliner and her favorite Fenty Beauty lip gloss.
Grabbing her bag, she headed downstairs to join her family for breakfast. Her father was reading the newspaper with his glasses on while drinking a cup of coffee, and the smell of her mother's famous cinnamon pancakes filled the air. "Good Morning gumdrop." Her dad said smiling her direction. "Morning dad." She replied grabbing a plate and sitting across from him. "How do you feel about school coming to a close?" Her mom asked kissing her daughters forehead. "I feel alright about it. It feels freeing in a lot of ways. I'll finally be home with you all more." Elisa replied slightly relieved. "-And that means the more I get to distract you when you try to be creative." Her sister interrupted coming down the stairs. Elisa smirked rolling her eyes "So, you'll still be living with mom and dad and because you won't have anything better to do with your life?" she teased.
"Are you ready yet? We're going to be late." Julie asked grabbing her keys from the coffee table. "Let's go." Elisa said before taking one last sip of her orange juice before grabbing her bag and heading out the door with her sister. "Bye mom, bye dad! Love you!!" They said before shutting the door and heading off to school.Thursdays were usually a blur for Elisa, as was every day prior. 1st-4th class do school work, 5th have lunch with her two best friends Jasmine and Frankie. Then 6th-7th more school work, then finally 8th class: art, where she painted or drew to her hearts content until the bell rang. As per usual, Elisa met up with her two friends after school as they walked to the exit.
"I'm sooo glad that we're almost about to kiss this hell-hole goodbye!" Jasmine said throwing one of her homework papers in the air. "You already know Jaz is going to get so drunk at the party tonight." Frankie chuckled with his arm around Elisa. "What party?" Elisa asked looking at both of them. "This huge graduation party for all of the seniors. It's going to be held at some huge house after school today. You're coming right?" Jasmine replied. "No, I can't guys.." Elisa says looking at her friends who now had sad looks on their faces. "Come on Lis...you never get out. You're hardly sociable." Jasmine said grabbing Elisas hand and swinging it back and fourth. "It's kind of sad to be honest Lis.." Frankie replied. Elisa sighed and looked at both of them "Look, I would love to, but Charlie has something. I can't do it tonight." Her friends expressions changed from sadness to annoyance. "You're always with him! You should honestly dump him already. He's kind of a dork." Jaz said rolling her eyes. "Hey, he's a really sweet guy. He loves what he does. I like that about him. He's the first guy I've been with who seems to want a relationship with me, rather than sleep with me.." Elisa replied a bit defensive. "Hon, have you even slept with the guy yet?" Frankie asked seriously. "Yes. We've done it....several times..." Elisa said sounding a bit hesitant. "Liar." Jasmine smirked at Elisa. "I'm not lying! It was when my dad and mom were having a date night and Julie was out at a party." Elisa defended. "And? How was it?" Frankie smirked nudging Elisa playfully. She hesitantly looked at the floor and replied "It was....okay. Nothing to really write home about. It sure as hell wasn't amazing like so many people say it is.." Jasmine looked at Elisa with a raised eyebrow "So...he sucks?" Elisa couldn't help herself, she chuckled softly looking at her friends, "yeah.." Frankie put his arm around Elisa again and smiled and said "See? This is why you need to come to this party tonight! So you can get some good dick." Elisa and Jasmine rolled their eyes and laughed before Elisa caved and gave in, "Alright, alright! I'll go!" she said smiling. "Awesome! But one thing first:" Jasmine said before grabbing Elisas phone and sending a message to Charlie:
I'm sorry, it's not working out. You're a great guy and super talented but I think we should stay friends."What did you do Jaz?" Elisa asked looking at her phone. "I did you a favor hun. It's not like you were in love with the guy. Now, the trio is going to own the fuck out of that party." She smiled as they all walked to Frankies car.
First part done!! I'm sorry if the dialogue was a bit confusing. I'm excited to be sharing my first story with you all!
