A couple days later, it was a free day, meaning there was no school for any of the band girls. As they waited for their arrival, Guren and Shizuka were both doing major prep work with Marina around the live house. Well, Guren was. Shizuka was manning the cafe. As today was another day of practice for the vocalists, and a band practice with a collaborative band, consisting of a member from each band, the girl looked over the ingredients they have in stock, wondering what to make for them during their break later.
"Ah! Shizuka-chii~!" came Hina's voice, as the mute looked up and saw the cheery idol approaching with her twin.
"Suzuki-san, good morning," Sayo greeted.
Shizuka took her sketchbook from its spot on the counter and opened it to a page. "Good morning."
"Hey, hey, Shizuka-chan. Can you make breakfast for us? I'm starving~" Hina asked.
"Hina, I told you to have something before we left for CiRCLE, didn't I?" Sayo questioned.
"I know, but Shizuka-chan's cooking is really good! Sis, you should try it!"
"Yes, I am already aware. However, that does not mean we can just trouble her in making meals for us every time."
"But I'm sure it's fine! Right, Shizuka-chan?"
Shizuka nodded in confirmation at that question.
"See? Come on, let's have something!" Hina pleaded her sister.
"You can order if you want. I'm good," Sayo declined in a harsh tone.
"Isn't it fine? Just get something," came Guren's voice, bringing all attention to the entrance of CiRCLE, where the girl just exited out of with a couple of boxes in her hands.
One look at her, and Sayo instinctively flinched, recalling the suplex the vocal staff member of CiRCLE delivered. A suplex that left her with quite the headache the very next day.
"I-If you think you can force me to buy something, you have another thing coming!" she exclaimed accusingly.
"Of course I'm not going to make you buy something. I'm not some money laundering merchant; just a staff member of CiRCLE," Guren bluntly said. "I'm just saying if you don't, I have a good feeling your sister will keep bothering you until you two have to do your own things today. And if I recall, for today, there is plenty of time for you two to spare until you have to get to your business."
"That's fine. I need the time to practice on my guitar, anyway."
"And you really think she will let you do that in peace?"
Sayo glanced at Hina when Guren asked that. As the trouble prone girl was insinuating, Sayo knew Hina well enough to know the girl would not let her be at peace now. At home was one thing, but in a live house? When they can use the time to practice for the Girls Band Party? ... Hina will definitely stick around her like a leech, trying to even get her attention.
The older twin let out a sigh, knowing which of the decision was lesser of the two evils. "Fine. But I'll only have something light."
"Huh? Come on, Sis. Get something bopping and filling with me. I'll even pay for us!" Hina suggested. While she was initially happy to hear her sister will have breakfast with her, the guitarist of PasuPare wants to do something more sisterly with her. Sure, they eat the same meal at home, but they rarely eat out, and whenever they do, Sayo always get something different from her and that makes her sad.
"I said I'm fine," Sayo said, getting more annoyed by the second.
As she set the boxes down, Guren could not help but look at the twins with a raised brow. She had thought, being siblings- sisters, for that matter- those two would be close in some way. She noticed the lack of interaction between them back when she first met the bands, but she thought it was due to a disagreement or because they wanted to get along with someone in their social group. Looking at them now? She could see while the younger twin wants to be close to the older twin, same could not be said vice versa. Guren had a friend who has a sister, and though they were not as close as they used to back when they were kids, she knew they still cared for one another. Likewise, even she...
