I believe Bruce loves horror films. If you enjoy them too, you two watch them together all the time. If you don't enjoy them, he only makes you watch this one with him.

I love the idea of Jason being a fan of simple animated films. He used to watch them with his mom and they now remind him of home.

You two both enjoy Tim Burton (this is my headcanon now- Tim loves Tim Burton) but you also spend most of the movie arguing on whether or not it's a Christmas or Halloween movie.
