Chapter 30: Lorena Starnaly

As the TV came back from commercial break, the crowd cheered as Luna walked out into the same stage her mother used to announce the original HoC, as Luna took the stance the person contained in the Tank pressed herself right against the glass and with her only eye looked with awe as she saw Luna salute everyone in the crowd

Luna: My friends! Today is a momentous day for all! A day we look back at the legacies left behind by not only those before us, but also from a very important person, a person you might all remember as the symbol of compassion, my mother, Lorena Starnaly! As a person who believes each heart has a redemption, me and my group have come together to announce the grand re-opening of the HoC!

The crowd cheered as Luna saluted and smiled, as she did Nelly, Alexandria and Charlotte walked on stage and stood alongside Luna

Luna: With a team like this, we are destined for greatness! As we, together, can achieve anything!!!

Luna pointed at Nelly with her full hand welcoming her to talk on stage, Nelly nervously but with a determined face stepped forward

Nelly: Hello everyone! I'm Nelly Ross! And I'm the HoCn's new Recruiting Director!!! I am looking forward to see you all in our ranks for the effort of world peace and compassion!!!

The crowd applauded, but in contrast to when the original HoC made their debut, the media seemed not very willing to comment as much, as the skepticism from before is completely out of the picture here and they know exactly what those words mean, HoC. When the first HoC came to be, it was highly doubted to be able to complete anything at all, but after everyone in the world got proven wrong, and the HoC showed it could do legitimate change in the world, making bad comments about what the HoC and it's members are is a guaranteed cancelation of your career and some might say, even life

Luna: And with that, we need to help discipline those whose hearts are consumed with darkness and despair, we need to help them see the light!

Alexandria stepped forward and with a serious face and strong attitude she said to everyone

Alexandria: I AM ALEXANDRIA MARIE ALDAINE AND I AM THE DISCIPLINES DIRECTOR FOR THE HOCN!!!! TOGETHER WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD FOR EVER!!!

The crowd cheered as Alexandria's legs trembled in fear

Luna: And without good communication, how will anyone know we're here!?

Charlotte stepped forward and smiled

Charlotte: It is with great honor that I present myself as the HoCn's new Communications Director! My name is Charlotte Bradley and it is a pleasure to commute to the future of compassion!!!

Luna: Strong words indeed! And I know you might all be wondering, but what if what happened before happens again? Well, we have ensured all safety precautions to make sure it never happens again.

As Luna said that the crowd started to spring out questions left and right

News Reporter 1: Miss Luna, does anyone even know what really happened that night!?

News Reporter 2: They say that Lorena's body still hasn't been found!

News Reporter 3: How can you explain the gunshot heard by nearby witnesses?! Do you guys even know how to prevent this from happening again?!

News Reporter 1: Miss Luna, how are we so sure that you won't follow your mother's footsteps?!

News Reporters: Where is Lorena Starnaly's body?!

Luna: ENOUGH!

Everyone stopped asking questions as Luna's face looked extremely pale

Luna: We have decided to hire the best investigator in the world on this case... You'll have your answers when you deserve them, the truth is something that takes time, and I assure you all, you'll all get your answers soon, thank you all for coming, that will be all for now
