For this first dream, I do not remember anything corresponding to it in real life aside from being two years after watching Rise of the Guardians. The only other thing I could think of was just recently moving to a new town.
For some context:
1. My dream made me a bit younger than I was, so I appear 6-8 years old in this dream
2.The guardians and Pitch cannot be touched unless someone believes in them. They can not be seen unless the individual believes in them.
Dream
The first thing I remember was looking out of the window of a moving car seeing orange dry grass of grain fields go by. Later I find myself in the backyard of a stone mansion playing with toys, my brother on the other side of a stone path. The yard had nice green grass, and there were raised flower beds on cobblestone walls about a foot high. I am certain that there were only a few flowers that had bloomed at that moment, and there was at least one tomato plant, still yet to produce its fruit.
As I was playing with my toys, I glanced up to see Pitch Black slowly striding by. I remember being awestruck as I looked to my brother, asking; "Did you see that?" He gave me a slow nod with his jaw dropped. It didn't take me long to stand to my feet, before rushing over to the tall man. Without thinking I ran into his legs, wrapping my arms around them. I caught him by surprise, but he didn't shrug me away. In fact, he looked down at me. I looked up at him with a wide smile, part of me in disbelief that he was there. I knew I didn't want to let go.
Pitch looked surprised, but not in a bad way. More relieved. He smiled softly, back at me, turning in my arms before crouching down and hugging me back. I remember holding on so tight that when he stood up I was still holding on.
After that the dream got a bit foggy, but I was told to stay at the mansion with some family friends and for some reason I decided to run away and try to find Pitch again. I ended up running into a couple of my old/ past friends and one of my new ones.
~~~~~~~~~~
That's the most I can remember about the first dream. It was likely within the first month of being in my new house which, if I'm not mistaken, was either late March to early April. I would have been living in the new town for about two months.
Now I know stress can induce certain types of dreams, however I don't think stress was the cause given I was happy to be moving away from my old town and wasn't entirely stressed. More relieved. The new school was all review, given I had been homeschooled for the past seven years, and to be recognized by the government, most homeschool programs are a few years ahead of the public school curriculum. Meaning: School was an easy transfer.
If anyone has any answers or meanings, I would be very interested in hearing it.
