Chapter 15

"Alright! Times up! Come on! Give me those games now."Hinata told them as they groan annoyed.

"Why now!"Kei whined at him.

"Because we have to learn something new today. Now let's put this away on your name so they can charge."Hinata explained to him as he nodded.

One by one they put it away except Kozume. He stood there looking at him then saw Kotaro and Tetsuro hiding theirs behind their backs. Most were even hesitant.

"Hinata-Senpai! Why are we waiting?"Hisahi asked and he sighed.

"We have three missing. Until they are not plugged in we can't leave. For now, just sit down for a moment okay?"He asked and they nodded.

Hinata walked to the three and Keiji stood in front of them. He held his hands wide in protective mode. Hinata stared at him for a moment then kneeled to look at him, face to face.

"I'm not going to hurt you or anyone of you all. I'm trying to get those games before they run out of battery."Hinata told him and the male shook his head.

"N...no!"

"Your hurt aren't you?"Hinata asked him and the boy stared at him.

"It's okay if you don't trust me now and feel scared. I'm just doing my job at the moment not causing problems. I will not hurt them. I promise you."Hinata told him and the child looked at him.

Hinata sighed and got up. He moved to the side and walked to them. Kozume looked at Hinata and handed him the switch.

"Can...Can we play again?"He asked and Hinata smiled.

"Of course. I just have to put these in charge or you won't be able to play because the battery might die."Hinata said and Tetsuro frowned.

"Then what happens to it?"He asked making Hinata chuckle.

"Well, you won't play on it because the screen won't work anymore until it's charged."He told the boy.

Tetsuro's eyes widen and handed him the switch. "Take it and charge it! Kotaro you too! Or else we can't play among us."He said and Kotaro held out the switch hiding his face.

"Thank you three. Now everyone get in line so we can go to your classroom."Hinata said and they followed.

Keiji looked as Hinata went to plug in the switch. He didn't get yelled at or pulled. No one did, not even Kotaro. In their old daycare, they were either pulled by their hands or yelled into their face. Most of the time they screamed when the kids wanted to do something or if they did nothing.

Hinata went to go open the door and walked them into the new room. They all sat wherever they want and Hinata played the number video. It was how to count to 1000. Not all the way but explained it.

"Okay!"

Hinata stood and wrote some numbers. "Any volunteers?"

A lot of hands were raised. Hinata looked to see Azumane with his hands up a little but not too much. He knew the kid was nervous and had anxiety. He's proud he's just getting out of his comfort zone.

"Azumane, what is this number?"Hinata asked him pointing at the red marker with one hundred on the board.

"I..."He mumbles gulping as he felt others stare at him.

"Don't be afraid. Remember we are here to learn. We aren't here to make fun of others. Some people can be smarter than others or not but it depends on what they know."He told Azumane.

"One...One hundred."Azumane blurted out.

"Correct. Great job. Tobio since your in a rush, what's this?"Hinata asked pointing at the written fifty-three.

"FIFTY-THREE!"He exclaimed excitedly.

"Smart boy. Now Tetsuro what's this number?"Hinata asked pointing at the number seventeen.

"Seventeen."

"Good."He said and continued with the kids as they screamed or jumped to answer it.

Hinata just smiled then continued to play a different counting video. He sat and went on his phone looking through his teammates texting about the nice barbecue they were having.

He loved food but the kids keep his day going. He sighed noticing how dumb his friends were. He couldn't believe they were doing this on purpose because they sent steak to him privately. He shook his head.

He should've never failed that test but he had no choice. The test was boring and he was about to fall asleep on it. He thought he might poke his pencil into his eyes if he ever fell asleep.

Kōshi held up his hands to get Hinatas attention. He does and Hinata smiled to pause the video to give him his full attention.

"Yes?"

"Can I get some water please?"He asked and Hinata smiled.

"I see we are being polite today."He mumbles and Hinata went to the fridge.

Hinata got a small water bottle and handed it to him.  Kōshi bowed his head. Hinata smiled and went back to keep playing the video as the kids got excited.

Hinata started to notice something. He didn't know what it was or what his fingers were the cause. He felt goosebumps which made him sign. He was surprised how there were more kids.

"Yeah, it's 40."He heard which made him chuckle.

Kei was wiping down the tables and cleanings. He kinda wished someone would help him but it's nice to see some were helping. Once Kei was done, he was already tired. Hinata noticed they were getting sleepy.

Hinata made them get ready for a nap. Hitoka was so excited. She couldn't wait. Hinata again noticed someone was there. It didn't look like it was going to be an issue.

Eventually, he was thankful someone was helping him even if he is not supposed to. He would be glad enough to get some help. He noticed who was missing by their hair color or the way they act. He even noticed some space missing between the others they were sitting with before.

"Where is Tetsuro and Kotaro?"Hinata asked them worriedly.
