Shouyou looked at his father for a moment then let him just do whatever he wanted. He was exhausted. He waited until his mother came with his sister but that didn't seem to happen. It was completely uncomfortable and awkward

Shouyou looked at his father finishing the tents. He didn't help one bit. Instead, he just watched the water run as he daydreamed about going back to the daycare. It was much better than being where he was now.

"SHOUYOU!"He heard a scream and saw his sister running to him with bags of chips.

He smiled and she handed him a bag of chips. He took it and opened it to eat them. She sat next to him and ate.

"Did you make him work on the tents?"She asked and he nodded.

"Why didn't you help him?"She asked her brother.

He sighed. "Did he help me when I needed it?"

"Don't get too angst Shouyou."Hinata turned to see his grandmother.

"Grandma?"He mumbles then bowed staring at her confused why she was here.

"Now go and help your mom. Natsu, come here and give me some of that chocolate."She said and Natsu ran to her handing her the whole bag.

Shouyou got up and walked straight to his mother's car. He looked at her confused. She was grabbing a bunch of stuff. It was mostly food. He picked a bunch of iceboxes and put them in a blue tent.

He felt a pat on his back to see his mother. "Be nice."

"Mom...stop."He said and she froze.

"I don't like him and never will. Don't force me to like someone because he's changed. I don't care. He should've never treated me like that in the first place."Shouyou told her.

"I don't care what he does now when I cared what he did before. I wouldn't even force you to jump off this water knowing that you can't swim so how can you force to you jump around with him as if nothing happened."He explained to her putting his hands in his back clenching.

She stood there and sighed. "I just want you to get close to him."

"Did you even ask if I wanted to talk to him? To even be near him? Did you even ask how I feel about it?"He asked her and she gulped.

"Exactly. Nothing. So don't try getting into something that was never there."Shouyou said annoyed and got out to see his father.

They looked at each other and Hinata snickered. He gave a glare and walked back to his mother's car to get more things out. After all, he had to help. He put them away and eventually closed the doors with the trunk. He went to sit on a table seat. He turned on his phone and put his earphones on listening to music.

He didn't notice that his sister, grandma, and mother were walking alone. It was just him and his father. Hinata looked at Shouyou. He wanted to talk but knew he was at fault. He messed up with his kids.

Of course, he would give money to his siblings, their kids, and their spouses. They had their own money, he just wanted to help them. He didn't notice he was leaving his own family.

"Shouyou."He called out the boy wasn't even listening.

He tapped his shoulder and Shouyou got up. "Just fuck off."

Shouyou glared and walked away from him. He grabbed his arm and Shouyou turned to look at his father. He was so annoyed he wanted to punch his own father in the face.

"What? WHAT?"He yelled annoyed.

"Listen, I'm not here to fight or for you to forgive me. I just want to be with you."Shouyou scoffed at him.

"Really, then go be there for Natsu. I don't need you or to be with you."He told his father.

"Can you just leave me alone? You already made everyone feel like a worthless piece of shit, what else do you want?"Shouyou told him.

"Shouyou listen to me. I made mistakes and didn't know I was leaving you all behind. I'm sorry I did that and I know you can't forgive me. Just please don't leave me. You, your mom, your grandma, and your sister are all that I have. I can't lose you."He said to Shouyou holding back his tears.

"You already did."

Shouyou pushed his hand away and went to sit inside the other blue tent all by himself. He ate some snacks while drawing a mustache at the kid's pictures. He's probably going to send it to them.

Shouyou hugged himself listening to music. He looked at the small plastic window to look outside to see the sun going down. He got out of the tent looking for his sister. She wasn't there. Not even his mother or grandma. He sighed annoyed.

"Who are you looking for?"He turned and saw his father.

"None of your business,"Shouyou told him.

His father sighed. "They went walking, they said they will be back before sun down."

Shouyou walked back into the tent and saw a blanket. He grabbed it and put it around him. He didn't want to get close to his father. No one understood him.

He remembers being only a few years old asking him for a toy, instead, his cousin got the same toy. When he needed help with homework, he never helped. When he asked him for money for food, he never handed him any.

He remembers crying feeling worthless. Feeling helpless that there was no father beside him. He was someone else's father, not his. If he was, he would've talked to him before instead of ignoring him. He would've given him some attention.

So why is he giving him the attention now when he's used to not having it. Grown from not needing a father figure. Not needing him in his life at all. Just why?
