Hinata woke up and whined. He sniffed as his boss started to water. His nose burned ready for a sneeze. Once he sneezed, he groaned as it felt he popped his eyes out.

"Shouyou wake up! You're going to be late!"His mom said barging in.

"Mom I feel sick,"Hinata said and coughed.

His throat itches and hurt as he started to cough more and more. He grabbed his water bottle on his nightstand to drink. He slowly sat up and his mom touched his forehead.

"Your sick!"

"SEE I TOLD YOU TO WEAR A JACKET YESTERDAY! Now, look at you. Sick!"She said helping him sit up.

Hinata drank some water feeling a little refreshed but the metallic taste bothered him. What was even worse was that the water tasted dry. He made a face with disgust as his mom took the bottle to put it back on the nightstand.

Hinata's mom walked out as she continued to talk."Next time when I tell you something you all should listen to me! I'm saying stuff for your own good!"

His mother nagged as she left while Natsu looked at him by the door and stuck out her tongue. She gave the pinky finger and ran giggling as she had just done something great. All she hears is that her brother is in trouble and not her. She's happy she can get away with anything now that their parents are paying too much attention to him.

Hinata laid back down and tried to go to sleep only to think about the kids. His new friends were definitely going to die of exhaustion. Not to mention when he isn't there the kids are crazy umpa lumpas on a Friday night club before they go meet a taco stand to eat their dinner like fine dining.

Soon he went to sleep while his mother called his aunt to let her know he was sick and wouldn't be coming to work. Then she started to make some warm green tea. Hinata's father walked in confused smelling the tea aroma in the kitchen.

"Why are you making tea? Is someone coming over?" Hinata's father asked.

"No, Shouyou is sick."She told him and he frowned.

"I see."

"Let me do it. You have to take Natsu to her friend's house."He told his wife who stared at him for a moment.

"I'll finish up and then leave. Don't worry about it. Why don't you eat breakfast."She told him and he hums.

"I'm just saying. I make better tea than you."He whispered which she heard then glared at him.

Natsu ran to the dining table and stared at her father. "Daddy, you haven't given me my five bucks yet!"

"Sorry kiddo, not today. I don't have your money."She huffed and went to sit on her chair with her arms crossed.

"You said that yesterday!"She told him.

"Natsu, have you ever heard of the word Broke?"He asked and she raised an eyebrow.

Broke? Did he break something? Why would he ask her that question? She looked at her mother and then back at her father confused. Her mother sighed and just snickered knowing he just doesn't want to give her money because he was buying a bunch of raisins and nut packs from the store.

"No? What's that?"She questions with curiosity as her arms slowly removed from crossing them.

"It's where I don't have money."Her eyes widen for a moment.

"So we are poor?"She gasps.

"No. It means I don't have money. I'm broke. I have no paper but I could buy you some almonds. They are good for your brain."He said and she looked at him in disgust.

"EW! No!"She whined as she fake gagged.

"Just give her the five dollars."Her mother said as he sighs.

"Fine."He said and gave her daughter the money.

She smirked and stared at the five dollars. She thought she was finally able to get anything like candy and no one had a say in it. All her candy would be hers and no one else's.

"Okay kid, just eat your breakfast now."He told her.

Hinata's mother walked up the stairs and to her son's room. The child was asleep. She sighed and put the tea on his nightstand. She shook him to wake up and he did. He groans annoyed and stared at her.

"Come on, drink some tea."

He nods and he slowly sat up with the help of his mother. "I'll come back after dropping Natsu off. If you throw up. There will be a trash can by the bed. I don't want to clean the floor."

"Okay."He murmured.

She smiled handing him the tea to drink then grabbed the trash to be beside the bed. She looked at him just sipping slowly. He looked at her and she put her hand on his forehead. It was getting hotter. She frowned and pushed his hair back.

"My poor boy. You should've worn that jacket."She said and he groans.

"Mom I have a headache. It happened so let it be."He said and her eyes twitched.

"Yeah and look where you are. God, you never listen to me."She said glaring at him.

Shouyou knew this wouldn't end. She would be nagging all day and night until he gets better. She will end his life because of this yet she is also trying to help. He doesn't know if his mother would want him dead or not.

Either way, it bothered him. It happened, it's not like he could change the past. If he could, he would change everything that's been happening to him for years. He would do anything for it to change but he can't. So he stuck with the consequences of not only his but everyone's actions.

Everyone's actions that shouldn't have him be involved and no reason to be his but it is. He just wished his mother knew how it feels for his father to be here, trying to be a dad when he knows he's going to the same thing over again.
