Chapter 10- The last day of the trip

Yashiro POV
I woke up and saw that there was no sign of anyone in the room with me. I jumped out of my bed and headed over to my backpack.

I opened it up and got out my school uniform and walked into the bathroom to change into it.

When I was done changing I came out and remembered that today is the last day of the trip. I wonder what we will be doing for the last day.

"I should head downstairs and get some breakfast." I said to myself.

I opened the door to the room and walked out. On my way downstairs people waved at me and said good morning which I did back.

When I got downstairs I spotted my best friend Aoi so I ran up to her and hugged her.

"Good morning Aoi!" I said smiling.

"Good morning Nene-chan!" She said hugging me back.

"Aoi do you know what we will be doing for the last day?" I asked as I let go of her.

"Well I heard the teachers plan to take us on a walk with pretty flowers and plants."

"That sounds so fun! I can't wait!" I said with excitement.

"Well you should eat. Here!" She said handing me a plate with a cinnamon roll on it.

"Thank you so much Aoi!" I said as I took the plate and sat down at a table.

I took a bite out of the cinnamon roll and smiled in delight. It tasted sweet and fluffy.

After I was done eating I saw students going outside to go on the walk.

"Nene-chan I'm going to go outside." Aoi said.

"Ok Aoi!" I waved by as she did the same with a sweet smile on her face.

After Aoi left I stood up from my seat to go try to talk to some people and make some friends I then walked over to this boy with black hair and red eyes.

"Hi!" I did smiling at him.

"Don't talk to me, you're ugly. What do you even want?" He said with a disgusted face.

"I was wondering if you would like to be my friend."

"We no way nobody will every want to be your friend ugly." He said getting up from his seat and walking away.

I walked back to my seat and sat down trying to fight back my tears. I then felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Amane-kun.

"Why are you sitting all alone?" He asked as he sat down in a chair next to me.

"I-I don't know." I did looking down avoiding eye contact.

I then felt a warm finger gently grab my chin and pull my face up to look at Amane-kun. I looked into this amber eyes as they stared back at mine.

"Hey what wrong?" He asked me with a worried face.

"N-nothing is w-wrong. I'm f-fine."

"No you're not. I can tell something is wrong."

"It just I can't m-make any f-friends because I'm too u-ugly." I said as tears began to fall from my eyes.

"Hey don't cry. You are beautiful why would you think that?" He said as he wiped my tears with his thumbs.

"S-some boy t-told me."

"Don't listen to him. Let's go line up for the walk now." He said as he held my hand and stood up.

"O-ok."

We walked out the door and got into the line with the students. I looked down at Amane-kun hand. He was still holding my hand. I felt my cheeks get warm.

"U-uh A-amane-kun." I said embarrassed.

He looked down and then immediately let go of my hand.

"I-I'm so sorry about that Yashiro." He said looking away avoiding eye contact.

"It ok Amane-kun." I said smiling sheepishly.

Soon the teachers said that it was time for all of us to start walking. We walked about then got into the beautiful part with all the flowers and trees.

"We can hang out here for a few minutes and then head back." The teacher said.

I quickly ran into the trees and bushes with my eyes closed. I then opened my eyes.

"Wow."

Amane POV
I looked over at my side and didn't see Yashiro. I started to panic.

"Where did she go?" I asked myself with a worried look.

I looked in some bushes to see if she was just hiding but I couldn't find her.

"Yashiro!" I called out. I then moved some bushes and tree to see there was a trail.

I decided to walk down to see if Yashiro went down there. I came to the end of the trail and saw more bushes so I pushed them away.

When I looked up what I saw made me shocked. It was a beautiful sight.

I saw Yashiro sitting in the middle of the grass with flower surrounding her. She held little bunnies in her arms as the butterflies flew around her.

Just looking at her made my heart flutter and my cheeks grow warm. She looked so beautiful.

"Hello Yashiro." I said as I walked up to her.

"Hi Amane-kun. Isn't this bunny cute? It's so beautiful here."

"Just like you." I whispered under my breath.

"Did you say something Amane-kun?"

"I-I was just saying the bunny looks so cute."

"Yes it does."

"Well we should get back to the group I think we about to leave soon."

"Ok. Bye little bunny and butterflies." She said as she smiled softly sitting the bunny down.

We walked back to the path where the other students were. The teachers said it was time for us to head back. By time we got back the sun was already setting.

When I got inside the building I walked upstairs and took a shower. After taking a shower and changing into my pajamas I came out and laid down on my bed then I fell asleep.

Yashiro POV
I walked up stairs ready for bed. When I opened the door I found Amane-kun sleeping in his bed. He looked so cute.

I walked up to him to view him closer. As I looked at him my heart started to beat very fast.

I then walked to the bathroom and changed to my pajamas and laid down on my bed. I watched a few YouTube videos and then went to bed.
