Chapter 14- Getting ready for the festival

Yashiro POV
"So Aoi what's the festival about that Amane-kun said you guys are going too?" I sat down in my seat.

"Oh Nene-chan it is going to be so fun! There will be food, fireworks, rides, scary rides, and other fun things." She smiled.

"S-scary rides?"

"Yep." She giggled a little.

"Are you coming?" She looked at me with a excited face.

"Yes. I'll go." I smiled.

"Oh let's go shopping for our outfits today then! Since the festival is tomorrow." She held both of my hands.

"Ok!" I nodded with a smile.

The rest of the school day I did my classes and didn't eat lunch. After school I waited by the school gate for Aoi.

I looked up into sky. It was no cloud in sight. It was also very sunny.

"Nene-chan!" Aoi ran over to me.

"Hey Aoi!" I turned around to face her.

"Let's go now." She grabbed my hand and we both started running to the shop.

We got inside and I saw so many pretty dresses to pick.

"Are you buying one too Aoi?" I titled my head a little.

"Yes." She nodded her head with a sweet smile on her face.

I walked around the store trying to find one I should wear. I couldn't find one that would look good on me.

"Nene-chan!" I heard Aoi call. I walked over to where she was calling me.

"Does this look good?" She asked. She had on a lavender dress with colorful little flowers on it.

"Yes! It looks very pretty on you!" I smiled.

"Really? I also found one I think you would look good in. You should go try it on." She smiled handing me the dress she wanted me to try on.

I went into a changing room and changed into it. Once I had it on I looked in the mirror. It was a pretty one.

It was a light pink for the background with red roses on it and little diamonds outlining each rose. It reached my knees.

I then walked out the changing room after looking at myself in the mirror.

"You look so cute Nene-chan!" Aoi smiled sweetly.

"I don't think I should have this one." I smiled sheepishly.

"Why? You look cute in it!" Aoi looked with a worried expression on her face.

"I don't think I do."

"Don't say that Nene-chan. You really do look good in it." She held both of my hands in hers.

"Really?"

"Yes!" She giggled a little.

"Thank you so much Aoi!" I smiled.

"You're welcome! Let's go buy these."

We changed out of the outfits and put on our uniforms again. We then walked up to the register and Aoi bought the dresses.

We then left the store after purchasing the dresses. Aoi and I talked as we walked home and then went our separate ways.

I opened the door to thehouse and headed inside. I ran up to my room and put the bag with the dress in it in my closet. I walked over to my bed and laid down.
