Celebi - Chapter 1

"...Human? Hello? Can you hear me?"

"W-What..."

"You're finally awake! Thank goodness, you had me worried there for a while."

"Huh? Ugghh, my head..."

"Please take your time human, I understand if you're still feeling disoriented."

"What...What is going on?"

"You'll know soon enough human, but rest assured that there is nothing to fear."

"W-Who are you?"

"Hm? You don't recognize me?"

"No, everything's so blurry to me..."

"Try to focus your vision on me as hard as you can, human, then you are sure to recall who I am."

"Okay... I'll try."

Following the voice's words, I began trying my hardest to make out who they were, despite my vision being so unclear. It was hard to focus at first because it felt as if my head was throbbing out of my skull, but as my headache slowly faded away, so did the fog in my eyes.

"I...I think I can make out who you are now."

"Great, small one, tell me what you see!"

"I think that I see a giant... foot?"

"Hehehe~"

"H-Huh? What are you- Gack!"

Suddenly, I would receive a massive wake-up call when what appeared to be a giant toeless green foot landed right on top of me, trapping me underneath it before I had any real chance to react. While the giant foot was admittedly rather soft, that didn't give me much comfort since it so was unbearably heavy. It was like getting crushed by the world's heaviest pillow, and I couldn't do anything other than struggle. Meanwhile, the entity seemed to be having the time of its life.

"Hahaha! You don't know how long I waited to do that!" said the entity, "I hope that you enjoyed that little surprise as much as I did."

I desperately tried to wiggle myself free from the giant foot with all my strength, to no avail as my body was just so small compared to a foot so absurdly huge. It almost felt as if the foot was a being of its own, a beast who was hungry to eat me and wouldn't let me get away.

"...Mmmm, I can't lie, it feels really good to rub my feet on your puny little body like this. You sure make for an excellent foot toy, you know that? ...Oh, right, I can't hear you when you're having a mouthful of my foot. Oopsie~"

Thankfully, the entity was kind enough to lift its foot off me before I could feel my bones turn to dust. When I got back on my feet, the size difference between me and them was crystal clear, with them easily towering over me. But, now that I got to have a good look at their face, suddenly they became all too familiar to me.

"C...Celebi? You're the one behind this?"

"Yep. Is it that surprising?"

"O-of course it is! Why would the Guardian of the Forest do something like this?!"

"I don't know, bored maybes ?" Celebi said playfully, giving me a wink while sticking their tongue out.

"B-bored? You shrunk me down to an ant just because you were bored?! What if something happens to me while I'm like this?"

"Oh just relax, little buggy, nothing is going to happen to you in this forest, I will make sure of that... well, so long you agree to do exactly everything I say, that is~"
