Sid's P.O.V.

I didn't expect that last night would be different from my typical. To be honest, if you'd ask me I'm not even sure myself what drew my eyes to her. But I'd know for sure what really caught my attention was the way she carried herself, gracefully.  She looked like a damsel in distress, I did not know what it was but she stood out from the rest.

Her presence screams trouble but damn wouldn't I enjoy a little wild ride...

---

That morning...

"Hey, what would you like for your coffee-" I came back from the shower and when I did, she was no longer there. She left, just like that.

"Hey, Beaut?" I tried finding her but no traces of her was there. Only her satin dress that lay on my laundry.  Oh. Wait.

If her dress was still here, what did she go home in?

Damn how I wish I'd seen that. Get a grip, Sid. You sound like a perv.

I was never the one to regret. Impulsive as I can be, I was always one to take the initiative.

But right now, I'd be lying if I say I didn't miss her.

Beaut, you may be my first regret.

I went to my walk-in closet and find my pair of dark blue satin polo and white pants that was already hanged on my see-through cabinet.

No time for pity party, I cannot be late for my first day.

As I grab for my wristwatch, I noticed a piece of ring glistening through my bed table.

She left her ring...Is this her engagement ring?

Oh well, I should keep this in case she'd go looking for it.

It kept me wondering, would I ever get the chance to see her again?

At least I have a piece of her to remember by.

As I got out of my condo, I slid my earphones on as I start my day off.

---

I'm used to first days.

Engaging with different people.

Interviews and introductions.

But it would be a bloody miracle if I stayed in one place long enough to settle into a routine.

Girls just wanna have fun. That was what my yaya Emi used to say. Not sure if she knew that I was into girls...but that's beside the point.

I just want to enjoy what I could in this life. I don't settle in one place for too long, I like to try new things. I like wild rides, exotic adventures with just a handful of carry-ons with me.

After all, what is life without a little spice? YOLO.

I stood with the people waiting for the MRT train.

A message popped on my screen and I slid my lock screen to check the message. It was from my good friend, Wren.

Good luck miss intern, try not to fire yourself on the first day.

Huh. I replied and shut my phone.

I decided not to bring any of my vehicles today. I wouldn't want to be treated special. I am no less than a normal employee.

As the train approaches and the door slid open people rush in at siksikan na agad. Just then as I was about to sit, I saw a senior citizen with her grandchild. I paved the way at inasist si lola papasok sa loob dahil hirap siya maglakad. I gave my seat away. "Maraming salamat, hija. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos."
