Talia's POV

We sat at the dining table and she offered to push back the chair for me. I smiled. It was as if doing simple courteous things was natural for her. And I complimented her for it.

"Wow, this actually looks appetizing." She dug into her food and nodded, as she takes a spoonful of her pasta.

I was having a hard time cutting my beef into smaller pieces and she seemed to notice it. So she stood up from her chair, reached out for my plate, and moved it towards her.

"You can have mine." She interchanges our plate.

I took a piece and she quietly cuts off the beef. As I watch her do it, she looked up to me.

"You're quiet, I'm not used to it."

I mocked a laugh. I rested my chin on my palm."Hmm what about I ask you about yourself this time, you got your chance to get to know me a bit. But I know so little about you."

"Who are you?" I raised my eyebrow and took a bite from my pasta.

She laughs, "Hi I'm Sid, nice to meet you." she places her fork down and reaches her hand out.

"Dummy."

"On a serious note tho, there's nothing much to know about me..."

"I don't think so."

"What do you wanna know, ask away."

"Hmm okay, diba you often travel a lot? What country really struck you? Like a go-to place if given the chance?

"Hmm I'd say Turkey. I like to go to places that hold so much history."

"Ooh, let me guess you're like that AP, world history genius in class, back then?"

She just laughed off. "Guilty."

"Kelan birthday mo?"

"Baket susurprise mo ba ako? I accept gifts naman, sino ba ako para tumanggi sa blessing diba? Send ko na ba number ko sa gcash?"

"Feeler ka masyado ha?"

"HAHAHAHA! Aasahan ko yan sa October 3." she winked and playfully raised her brows.

"What are your petpeeves?" I proceed to my next question.

"I hate liars. I'd rather know the painful truth than stay with someone who'd constantly betray my trust." I nodded. That kind off scared me.

"Speaking of pets, ito na, your qualifying test! Dogs or cats?" I glared at her jokingly and smirked waiting for her answer.

"Okay, honestly I'm more of a cat person. But I also have a retriever, Lincoln."

"You named your dog after the sixteenth president of the US?"

"Good observation but no! Actually it just crossed my mind. Lincoln then ayun na HAHAHAHA!"

"Okay okay. You pass." I slowly nodded.

"Besides the waffwich you usually make, what is your favourite thing to eat?"

She smiled coyly and bit her lip. "It depends..." she stared at me with that look.

"Favorite color mo siguro green no?" Panunumbat ko.
