Chapter Five

Talia's P.O.V.

I went out of the elevator and  decided to go back to my condo to pick up my clothes. I dialed the jerkass.

"Talia."

"Nasan ka?"

"I'm out right now but I can pick you up if you want."

"No need. Pupunta ako sa condo ngayon to pick up my things. Don't bother coming. I won't stay for long." I ended the call bago pa siya makapag respond.

I parked my car and went up to the unit. 

Pagkapasok na pagkapasok ko palang nanikip na ang dibdib ko remembering that night. What if hindi nalang ako umuwi? Would it end up like this?

As I enter my closet, I went to my bag shelves and took out my suitcase. I started to pick out my dresses from the hanger and put them inside the suitcase.

After an hour or so of decluttering, my eyes started to feel heavy so I decided to take a nap sa other room.

I remember the lingering feeling...her touch...her intimate gaze... her perfume and warm embrace...

I turned to my side to get more access to her neck as I breathe in her calming scent.
I feel her gently cup my face, "hey babe."  Wait...

I forced my eyes open to see Matt lying beside me.
"Matt?! What the actual f*ck?!" Napaupo ako papalayo sa kanya.

"Did you miss me? Grabe I missed how you used to hug me like that."

Napatayo ako sa higaan. Inayos ko yung buhok ko at inayos yung damit ko na nalukot sa pagkakahiga.

"Where were you? I was waiting for you to come home for 2 days."

"What is it to you? We're done." Tumalikod ako sakanya.

"Excuse me I am your fiance." Hinawakan niya braso ko para harapin siya.

"Ex fiance." I corrected. At tinanggal yung kamay niya sa braso ko.

He was trying to get a hold of me pero umiilag ako sa kanya.

"And you are about to become ex-tinct if you don't leave me alone right now." I threatened.

"Calm down babe. I gave you space to cool off. This was all a huge misunderstanding."

"Oh don't use that excuse now, Matthaias." He knew I was dead serious because I used his full name to refer him.

"Siguro nga tama ka, this is all a misunderstanding. I should never have been with you in the first place." Ginantihan ko siya.

"Babe please naman, hear me out." I am getting sick of him calling me that.

"Maybe you should've thought of that before putting your tongue down my bestfriend's throat." I walked pass him and got my suitcase.

"It wasn't what it looked like. I swear mali lang pagkakakita mo." He was trying to get away with his mistake.

"Please wag mo na dagdagan ang panloloko mo saakin. I am done with your sh*t. What is done is done. Better if we just move on and forget it."
I tried to talk sense to him.

"Look Talia, I know I made a mistake. But you can't just throw five effin years just like that just because of one mistake you witness."

"Alam mo, I am thankful I was able to caught you on act, if not I would be ignorant of your cheating ass. Hell, I'll be married off to an unfaithful husband."

"Talia lets fix this. I know we can still fix this..." Nagmamakaawa na siya saakin.

Puhlease. I rolled my eyes.
