His days has been eventful, with the debut approaching in few days, there's really no space for mistake anymore. He realized that everyone has been feeling the dread by now. But no one complains as it's the price for them to make their dream a reality.
Jay goes straight to the bedroom once they reached home. Having done with shower at the company, it makes it possible for him to just throw his body on the bed and drift to sleep.
He can hear the hustling around the house. He knows the members are doing everything quickly so that they can go to bed. But Jay can also hear some loud noises from the television. That must've been Jay and Niki, trying to cramp some of their time for a round or two of gaming session.
From the bathroom side that is beside their bedroom, he can hear Jungwon voice, talking rather animatedly to his Injang and Garden.
For Jay, it's good that most of them knows how to find some of their time to destress, to channel their exhaustion by doing something else. Jay usually did too, but not today, he feels tired to the bone, he think he needs to have as much as sleep as he can afford. So that tomorrow he can be more energized for practice.
Just as he's about to drift to dreamland, he can feel someone shake his legs lightly, along with a soft voice uttering his name.
"Jay-ah? Aren't you going to freshen up?" Sunghoon soft voice greets his ears.
"Nah, I've done at the company just now. I'll just call it a day now." He informs the latter. He can hear Sunghoon hums in understanding before making his way to his bed on the upper bunk.
"Okay, me too. Goodnight then." Sunghoon bids him goodnight in which he replied inversely before sleep consumes him not few seconds after that.
Just as Jay thought he can have a good night sleep; he can feel a sense of familiarity surrounding him. He can feel the same chilly air and the hazy atmosphere makes him realize that he's there again. In the Korean drama. The place that he can't put a name to it, after his last visit there.
Jay pries his eyes open to take in his surroundings. Ugh, not again. He groans inwardly. Having been there the last time makes him more conscious of his surroundings.
But today, instead of being surrounded by the archery range, he's in closeted place, an entrance of a quarter. It's like the quarters that can be seen in Korean historical dramas. He's currently standing on a bridge that encircled by a beautiful pond around it. Maybe it belongs to one of the important people here as quarters are only given to those who held an important rank in the palace.
Jay slowly makes his steps toward the quarter. Once he had made sure that there's no one around, he walks further, and at the end of the hallway, he can see that there's only one room that's still having it's light on, signifying that someone is there and still awake. Just as Jay wants to head there, someone passes by him, walking hurriedly towards the room at the end of the hallway.
Jay pales. Has he been discovered? What would happen to him now? Jay is so afraid now, afraid of the consequences of being caught trespassing into someone's property.
But as the woman, maybe one of the helpers? there, he notes by the attire worn by the woman, make his way towards the room without sparing him a glance, Jay registers the fact that he can't actually be seen by anyone here. Thus, to confirm his finding, he makes a brave strut to the room.
From outside of the room, he can hear hushed conversation from the people inside. He can see the woman that walked past him just now is knocking the door with three firm knocks before she speaks.
