I'm tired, super tired.
I ran back home as fast as I can.

And then my mom saw me painting.
"Darling, don't tell me you use your water powers again." My mom scold me as soon as I came home.
"How could you!" She yelled
"Didn't you heard what Dr.Fin said about using powers!"
"It is horrible for your health and you need a week a recover"
"That means a week no school"

"I know, mom, but it's worth it" I reply.
"What do you mean?"
"Do you remember the horrible shell that turn all of us in to mermaid." I said as I twirling my bracelet in my hand.

It is a present from my father to me for my fifteenth birthday. It has a aquamarine on it, my birthstone. The letter "A" is carve onto the stone. Little sparkles of blue dust is sprinkled in the bracelets silver chain.

I remember my past and how I want it back.

"What do you mean?" My mom says with confusion.
"The pearl I found has the same woman face as shell!"

My mom is startled.

"What does that mean?"

"This might related to the shell."

"Still, that give you no reason to use your powers!" My mom says fiercely.

"You can't blame me, I always dream to turn back in to mermaids. And a clue came up, should I just ignore it!"

"But...."

"MOM!" I know she want to be a mermaid again as much as I do.

My mom signed.
She said," just remember don't do the same thing next time."

"Thanks mom"
I give her a big hug.

"Beside, a week of no school isn't bad"

"Hey"

"I'm just joking, mommy"
"Do you know where Dr. Fin is?"

"Oh, you are going to show him that pearl right? Oh, I do hope that help on our investment of the shell?" My mom answer.

"But Where is he"

"Hold on, let me call him."

"Hello darlings, I'm here" said a man's voice.

"Dr. Fin!" I screamed.

"What a surprise!" Mom added.

He is a old man with white beard. He is my father's cousin and known as one the wisest man among the ocean. When I was little, my sisters and I love to pull his beard.

"Hello, Amelie, my dear." Said Uncle Fin.
"Welcome, Dr.Fin." Mom said.

"You don't need to be formal, Mary." Uncle Fin says warmly.

"But still......."
"How did you manage to get through the door, uncle." I asked.

"It is unlocked"

"Oh, anyway I found this pearl that has the same face as the shell?"

"Same face..... What do you mean?" Uncle fin says with confusion.

"They both have a woman's face on corner."
"Oh"

"Do you know what does that mean?"
"Let me see the pearl."

I give the blue pearl to uncle Fin and watch him looking as the pearl as if it could move at any moment.

"This pearl is a unique one. The woman's face on it resemble the shell's"
"Does it give you any clue of the shell transform mermaid into human thing?"

"No idea, I don't see the pearl has any opening, do I?"
"Of course not" How could a pearl has any opening?

"We could try to read the tri words to the pearl and see what will happen?"
Tri words is known as magical words. The tri words he was talking about are the words turn us into mermaids.

"But that would be too dangerous in a way?" Uncle said.
"Where did you get the pearl?" He asked.
"No idea, it just wash up from the sea?" I reply what the founder told me.

"Hello, I would like to have my pearl back? " said a sweet voice.
