"I swear she heard me say chocolate. Why the hell did she give me something for vanilla? I don't like vanilla." Darwin continues his jog home but on his way, he noticed someone else following him. He ignores it. He gets halfway to his house then notices the one person following him vanished. He was at ease again, he took out his phone and put his earphones on. Darwin was always an RnB person and secretly wrote music. Music was one thing he used most to cope with anything he went through but never in public. Darwin never shared much about his personality, the two people who knew him most were his mother and cousin who lived away in Canada.
Darwin reaches his home then walks in heading straight to the kitchen where he finds a note from his mother telling him how he might be alone for a day or two because of work. This didn't bother him, even considering how short notice it was. Darwin put the coupon he was given by a little stack of unopened envelopes then grabbed a mug from the cupboard then he stares deep into the coffee beans, a full fifteen seconds of staring. eventually, he makes himself a cup of hot chocolate. "I'll have coffee tomorrow."
