It's been a full twenty-four hours without hearing a buzz from his phone. Darwin is finally in peace, well he almost is. On rare occasions, he is in the living room where his mother stares away from him but it's obvious she is yearning to ask him about the girl she had seen her son tussle with the day before. "her name is Rose, she's from school. she's nothing to worry about" Darwin kills the suspense coming from his mom but it also brought up another curiosity "Uhm... Darwin, when you two were on the lawn. were you in control?" Kleo asked with hesitation in her tone which caused a bit of confusion within darwin but as soon as darwin understood her question, the tension in the room had suddenly risen. Darwin put no expression on his face after understanding the question but you could tell the question bothered him. he stood up and walked out of the house without answering his mother. It was around seven in the morning, Darwin was going for a morning jog, and he felt as if he was being followed. He goes from regular jogging to full-on sprinting. In a shadow under a tree behind him, a figure comes sprinting out looking as if it came completely out of nowhere. someone wearing a black hood and sweat pants dashes Darwin's way and their speed was beyond insane.
Darwin, with an irritated face, tries his best to avoid the pursuer by running around the area turning corners, crossing green light roads, and increasing his speed but the chase still went on. Darwin eventually got tired of it so he started slowing down but not enough to have it noticed. He was just closing the gap between himself and the person chasing him. He sets on foot down, stopping his momentum completely, and turns his body at an alarming speed then garbs the pursuer's neck then drops them. "You better one hell of a good reason to be chasing me, I'm not in the mood for this crap" darwin speaks with a calm voice which felt cold. He removes the hood and see's a grinning Rose. "Let's be friends, wait... Best friends" Rose looks at him with such excitement and all that was on Darwin's face was confusion and irritation.
