Chapter 7

My phone was beeping like crazy. I lazily stood up and looked at my phone, 10 missed calls and 14 text messages all from Harry. I checked the time it was 7:30am I ran to the bathroom worried that I would be late for school. The shower was short but it woke me up.

I opened my bed room door and saw Harry sitting on my bed, he looked at me up and down.

"Harry how did you get in here?"

"Your window was open, and you didn't answer my calls" He replied laying on my bed stretching his hands above his head.

I got a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, my sweatshirt and my undergarments "I need to change.."

"go ahead ill cover my eyes." He replied giving me a quick wink

"fine ill change in the bathroom"

I walked out of my room closing the door behind me and headed towards the bathroom. I quickly changed, and hung my towel up on the rack. I went back to my room.

"How about we skip school today?" Harry suggested.

It took me awhile to reply because I was actually a good student who rarely missed school, but this could be fun "Okay then."

He smiled and played around with his keys before replying "Its gonna be fun don't worry."

I grabbed my cell phone and shoved it in my pocket along with 10$ "Lets go."

"lady's first." Harry said holding my bed room door open for me.

It was cold outside mainly because of the morning fog, I got in Harry's car and turned on the heater.

"Close your eyes I don't want you to see where we are going. "

"okay"

I shut my eyes close and rested my head. The car was warm and comfy, it was the perfect place for a nap.

~30 minutes later~

"babe wake up!"

"I'm awake," I replied rubbing my eyes. "where are we?"

"Come with me." Harry grabbed my hand and covered my eyes. I took a few steps and he removed his hand from my eyes. In front of me was a sparkling lake and everywhere I looked I saw trees, it was a beautiful site.

"I thought we could spend our day here, away from everyone" Harry whispered, intertwining his fingers with mine.

I sat down by the edge of the lake "You thought right"

He gave me a smile and sat down next to me "do you know how to skip rocks?"

"Nope."

He picked up a rock "The key is to find a flat rock, here let me show you" he wrapped his arms around me and gently guided my hand throwing the rock at the water. The rock skipped 3 times before sinking to the bottom of the lake.

"That was cool I'm going to try again." I said grabbing a flat rock and standing up. I threw the rock at the water with all the force I could possibly put into it. The rock skipped 6 times.

Harry smiled "Impressive."

"Thanks."

I sat down again, Harry put his hand around my waist pulling me closer to him "Hey look the sun finally decided to show up." I looked up at the sky the fog was clearing.

"wanna go on a short hike?" Harry asked getting up and grabbing his backpack from the car.

"sure."
