chapter six: new teacher and confusion

3rd pov:

"Huh?' they all thought.

"I'm sorry, but would you care to repeat that?"

Reiji asked.

"Sure. My name is Sakara Haruno."

"No, the other part."

"I'll be your personal trainer?"

"Haaaaah?"

Ayato groaned. He leapt off the tree and stomped up to her.

"If you're our new trainer then what the hell do you think you're doing attacking us like this out of nowhere!?"

Sakara sighed and pushed him to the side so he wasn't blocking her view of the others. It was never a good idea to block the vision of a vedren shinobi. Especially when that vedren shinobi was still in the mindset that was made for war. During the entire time in this new world she had been refusing her instincts to kill everyone near her that was not classified as a non threat or an ally. At the moment the only person that wasn't a threat was Yui and she was classified as a civilian that was in need of protection from the dangers of the world.

"I was testing your ability to gather yourself when there was an attack from an enemy while you were asleep. Which by the way, is extremely low."

She deadpanned. Kanato frowned and held his Teddy tighter.

"Oi, oi! That's not fair! He didn't say anything about you coming here, so how do we know that you didn't come here to kill us!?"

Subaru shouted and the others stood up and drew together. Ayato stood in front of Yui with a protective arm around her. Shu stayed back since he was still injured but got to his feet ready to fight through his injuries. Reiji and Subaru went forward to offence and Laito and Kanato stayed slightly behind on defense. Sakara looked them over, nodding at their attack formation.

'A good formation. Subaru is one of the hard hitters from what I can tell. But his movements are predictable and needs Reiji to supply the tactic and mix things up a little bit. Kanato doesn't seem like a forward and would do better watching and waiting until the enemy is preoccupied. Laito seems to work better in stealth so it also makes sense to make him defense. It's funny how they made this formation in only five minutes. When they put aside their dislike for each other they could work as a squad of anbu.'

Sakara filled her thoughts with approval of their attack formation while working out a way to immobilize them for a few minutes to make them listen to her.

'I got it.'

"Are zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes?"

Reiji stiffened and got slightly lost in thought. However after a moment he said with confidence

"They are white with black stripes I believe." (they're not. Most people confuse it that way because they have a white stomach, but if you look it up on google they're black with white stripes.)

"Are you sure?"

Reiji nodded and paid attention once again, not bothering to care for the strange way the others looked at him.

"Wait, really? I thought they were black with white stripes."

Ayato said out of the blue trying not to confuse himself as he knew they would start to argue if they really got into the topic, and that was exactly what Sakara wanted.

"Nu uh, they're white with black stripes!" Kanato said, making his belief known.

"Are you all idiots? They're black with white stripes!" yelled Subaru.

"No they're not!"

"Yes they are!"

Sakara grinned as the topic got heated. She decided it was time to add fuel to the fire.

"What color is a polar bear's skin?"

Reiji looked over to her about to answer her but was cut off bye Ayato yelling

"They're black with white stripes!"

He, Kanato and Subaru were all distracted in their argument while Laito watched amused.

"Polar bears have black skin."

"Haaaah? Four eyes, are you blind?"

Asked Subaru as he looked away from Ayato and Kanato. The other two continued with their argument.

"Nurufufu~ I agree with Subaru on this one Reiji, are you blind? They have white fur, so they have white skin~."

Laito decided that now would be an ok time to ask. Shu looked away uninterested in either conversation and closed his eyes. Bad move. Sakara confirmed that they were now all slightly distracted and deemed it a good time to attack. She silently brought out some dull kunai. Subaru was the only one who saw the glint of a knife and yelled

"Incoming!"

The brothers teleported away with Ayato taking Yui with him. They all appeared a few meters to the left making sure they didn't separate. They learned it the hard way that the grounds were littered in traps that they would need help to get out of. Sakara nodded again before moving into a stance that looked normal but could be easily switched into a more on guard position.

"Ok, now that I have your undivided attention, I'll finish my introduction."

The vampires looked suspicious as to why she would distract them to only gain their attention later.

"My likes are too many to count, and I don't dislike anything in particular. My hobbies include working out and my dream is none of your business."

She said with a smile and a thumbs up. The brothers and Yui paid attention as to what they could gather but ultimately got nothing. Lots of people work out and she didn't say anything else about herself. Or at least that's what they thought. Sakara debated on whether she should tell them anything like Kakashi-sensei but decided not to.

"T-that's it?"

"Hah? That's practically nothing! Ore-sama demands that you give him a proper introduction!"

Ayato once again yelled at the pinkette.

"Well in that case you didn't give a proper introduction either."

She shot back at him. "Uh!" he slouched with a metaphorical arrow through his heart, realizing he couldn't ask anything of her. She put a hand on her hip and looked at him disapprovingly.
