Mei worked full-time at a hero tech company though now she works part-time and uses the rest of the time to teach the Support Course. As alumni, she felt obligated to help the next generations. Despite her professional attitude, she is still drunk on her love for her husband. It wasn't an obsession or depravity being satisfied.

She was just happy knowing she could be in the same building as her husband. Her handsome, muscular, determined, powerful, gentle yet commanding, obedient lover. She has the man most people want but it's not all laughter and joy. Yes, she fixed him but that was only his mind. His heart is in pieces. It's quite traumatic when you go against all the things you've been trained for. He didn't kill villains, he killed his own blood. You can never go back from that. But it proves that he's human.

In the beginning, Mei didn't love him. It was a mix of impulse, opportunity and pure, undiluted passion for mending. It was a heartbeat decision and here was a single guy begging for something or someone to love and protect.

Years passed. 5 years of marriage, practically ruined with the revelation of their newly conceived children. Mei was scared, to say the least. She didn't want kids but didn't know it at the time and neither did Izuku but they had enough judgement not to destroy their chance of starting a family. Then came the separation.

Izuku often left for weeks, only checking up over the phone or for upgrades. Mei couldn't handle it. She wanted him, there, in their bed, in her arms. He wasn't. That plus his dangerous career. He may be the most powerful man in Japan, maybe the world, but he's still just a man.

We're only human after all.

Our bones break.

Our bodies bleed.

Our tears run to the cheek and settle at the chin before dripping down to the chest or clothing beneath.

She saw how injured he still got and for that, she was afraid. She was inches away from asking for a divorce but instead decided against it and opted for Izuku to stay out of the lives of his children until they were strong enough or at the very least old enough to defend themselves.

15 years without a Father. And it's all her fault, she knows that but it's all in the past. Now they have their father. And she has her beloved.

"You said we would wait till we go home." Izuku sighed as the metal of his armour rubbed against Mei's tender flesh. Her rosy cheeks rubbed playfully against his lower chest and upper stomach, a testament to the height disparity. "And what is wrong with embracing you?" She queried, looking up into his helmet. He looked away as an admission of guilt. "We're at work. It's not appropriate as dictated by Nezu and the school's rulebook." He muttered aside. She smiled wickedly at him and cooed. "Baby, appropriate is subjective. And if I remember correctly, of course with the assumption that we are alone," She pressed herself closer to his shielded torso and lick her lips before lifting his helmet, exposing his mouth. He held him by the chin and pulled him down so they were face to face. Mei inched her mouth to his and breathed subtly onto his face, the air thickening and her eyes contracting.

"I govern the terms."

...

They were ready. No more waiting, no more suppression. Mei had just turned 18 and is a legal adult, the same as her boyfriend. No more lonely nights with fingers between her legs, imagining what he might say or do. No more sleepless nights, waiting for the time to pass, missing her smile and attitude.

They agreed to meet up and Izuku's childhood apartment. He sat on the couch, his legs jittery, wondering if his novice performance would be enough. Porn is superficial. In real life we have speed, accuracy, kink-related activities and the works.

He didn't want to mess it up. He didn't wear his usual makeup that covered his scars, old or new. Suddenly the door knocked. He took a deep breath and calmly waltzed over to inspect through the peek hole. Right on time, 7:00. He opened the door.

She had a backpack on, wearing a blue sundress, her hair in a ponytail secured by an elastic band. He just eyed her strange, uncharacteristic way of clothing. "A-ah, I have a ch-chang of if you dont-" She turned her head as if to leave before Izuku held her hand and pulled inside.

He closed the door and looked at her, the subtle curves of her hips, the blush in her cheeks, her slick physique and curious eyes filled with wonder. The dress obviously belonged to someone else since she had to constantly adjusted the straps to stay on her shoulder.

She flashed a single lopsided grin and titled her head. "Is this what you really want? Will this, finally heal you?" She asked, referring to her body. They'd talked about moving to the last base and decided to make the final decision in person. Each time they made progress, Izuku got better at socializing, at smiling and being who he once was though a pale imitation.

She thought he wanted it to... cure himself. "No." He answered to her surprise. "I don't want it.. yet. I promised my mother, I'd be wed before I dare think about such things." He chuckled. She just watched as he got on one knee, eyes locked to hers.

Reaching out with his telekinetic powers, he drew from some undisclosed location, an emerald encrusted ring. Mei cupped her mouth, her eyes watering. "I-izuku, w-were still in school..." She whispered. "I can wait. So will you do me the honour of being my future bride?"

"I don't have a choice, now do I?"

...

"So, that's how you got married?" Asked Hiashi. "Yup." Mei hummed.

"Okay."
