Winter

Christmas, The best time of year. Where family and friends can get together forget the past, hope for the future and just be happy.

That's all anyone wished for on the holidays, and usually, that's what people got. Hermione and Harry were the ones that wished. Wished for that happiness.

Hermione's parents were visiting their family in London. They still lived in Australia. And they still didn't remember her. But last year when they visited Hermione saw them, it took everything out of her to not speak with them. Harry promised he'd go with her to see them again this year.

They got ready and went to see them. Hermione watched from afar as they met with her once family. She looked at her grandmother with such sadness, her mother with a broken heart and her father with a weep. Hermione's holidays would forever be shattered.

Harry held her close to him and they stood there, letting the cold snowfall around them.

Harry leaned in and whispered. "I'll go with you tonight"

Hermione looked up at him and smiled. She laid her head on his shoulder and he held her.

-

"HERMIONE!!" Harry screamed. He was panicked. Begging she'd be here, hopefully, he'd find her he thought. He ran through the hallway to her door.

Hermione opened it with wide eyes and a cookie in her hand. "What?!"

"I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!" He yelled. Hermione set down her cookie and laughed. "Already on it Harry" She walked past him and into the closet near their shared bathroom.

She opened it and handed him a long bag covering something.

He held the hanger up laughed. "You already got me dress robes?"

Hermione smiled, leaned against the wall and nodded. "I knew you would change your mind. You're Harry Potter of course."

He laughed and went into his room. "How much time do we have left?" He yelled from his room.

Hermione looked at her tan watch her mother had given her a few years ago and yelled "an hour and thirty minutes"

Harry sighed and ran to the bathroom.
