7:49 pm

Hermione had been ready for twenty minutes already, she sat in the living Waiting for Harry's presence. She sighed and checked her watch once again.

"Harry we're going to be late. We have ten minutes" She yelled. She didn't hear a snappy yell back so she went to check on Harry.

He sat in front of his mirror trying to fix his tie and nothing was working. His hands were too shaky and sweaty for him to do it. Hermione laughed, walked up to him and slapped away his hands.

She tied it for him as he took deep breathes. He opened his eyes to see a smiling Hermione staring back at him. "Ha- I'm a little nervous"

"I can tell" She joked. Her warm smile comforted him. "Hermione, what if he's with her?" He asked with a shaky voice.

Hermione set down her bag on his desk and sighed. "I won't lie, she probably will, but you're better than both of them. It's Malfoy's loss for not keeping what was good for him. You're strong Harry, and smart, and attractive. You, Harry Potter, do not need Draco Malfoy to be complete" She assured.

Harry smiled and nodded his head. Yes, he does he thought. He kept that bit to himself.

They walked towards the living room and linked arms. They aparated to the Malfoy Manor and hoped their evening would be something to remember.

7:58 pm

Narcissa walked up to Draco's wing and knocked on his door. "Son, I hope you know, Hermione Granger accepted the invitation for both her and- Har-  Potter"

Draco was sitting on the side of his bed that faced his windows. He sat up straight and sighed.

"Thank you mother"

She nodded and walked back down the hall.

He smiled and stood up. He walked over to his desk and held the letter he received in the mail yesterday. He closed it and set it under one of his favourite books.

He walked out of his room and went to greet his soon to be wife.

8:00 pm

They stood outside the manor waiting for the doors to open.

Hermione's dress was a sky blue colour. The dress fit the top of her body well and Nicely fell on her sides. The bottom fell outward onto the ground and she had a fluffy shrug cardigan that went on her shoulders to cover them.

Harry's suit was black with a white bow tie. Plane and simple.

The doors were opened and they walked in with a few other guests.

Lovely waltz music was heard from the ballroom and beautiful Christmas decorations greeted them.

Harry walked down the front steps his arm still locked with Hermione's and onto the stone flooring that lightly shimmered from the lights above.

Hermione held Harry's hand tighter bringing him back to reality as he was stuck in his own head. They walked past the grand steps that welcomed anyone coming into the manor and went into the ballroom.
