Tears to shed

～Nico's point～

"I'll be back soon" Will said smiling at me before turning around and walking towards town.

I sat and waited for awhile before I started to panic Internally. I was sitting right by the very tree I died at.

"This is the voice of your conscience" Jason whispered in my ear.

"Or just the voice of my annoyed friend" I said moving his face away.

"I'm just worried that this boy is up to something" Jason said

"He's just going to talk to his parents"
I said

"Then was has he been gone for so long?" Jason asked

"Well, I can't imagine it's easy to tell you parents your married to a corpse" I said

"What if you go wait outside their house? That way you can know for sure " Jason said

"I suppose there's no harm in that, but I don't know where his parents live" I said

"Just follow his footsteps" Jason said pointing at the footprints leading out of the forest.

"Ok then. But when you find out that his not doing anything wrong you have to promise to stop worrying so much" I said

"If his not. Then I can try not to worry as much" Jason said.
We began to follow the footprints. we followed them out of the forest, past the bridge, a cross the street and over to a large house. I paused for a moment and looked at the house. This couldn't be where he live. Could it?

"Nico?" Jason said pulling me from me thoughts

"What?" I asked as I turned to look at him.

"There are footprints over here. I think he climbed up to that balcony" Jason said as he pointed the the footprints in front of him then the balcony right above them.

"Why would he have to climb to the balcony?" I asked as I walked over and began to climb.

I get to the balcony and climb over onto it. Then I went over to the door and and slowly opened it. When I actually looked up to see what was in the room I froze. Will was sitting in a chair by the fire and sitting across from him was a what looked like girl with with long curly hair but I couldn't tell for sure be cause their back was facing me.
Will looked up and saw me and a look of panic came on his face.

"Nico, this isn't what it looks like" He said as he ran over to me. I looked away  ffrom him not wanting to hear anything he had to say at the mo6

"Κουτσό" I said grabbing his arm.  then the same darkness enveloped us and with in seconds we were back in the land of the dead.

"You lied!" I yelled shoving him away.

"No I-" He started to say but I won't listen

"You never wanted me to met your parents!" I yelled cutting him off

"You just wanted to get back to that women.." I said my voice breaking when I said woman. If he loved a woman did he ever truly love me? I broke and started to cry.

"I thought e-everything was going s-s-so nicely. I thought you l-l-loved me" I said between sobs.

"Nico. I do love you" he said sounding      sincere

"But. you don't understand. I was going to marry her, un-"

"But you're married to me!" I yell and even though I was dead I was sure my heart was breaking

"Yes I'm married to you, it was an accident-" he started but stopped as if he just realized what he said . I turned away from him and felt tears fall down my face. I wiped my face and slowly walked away. Those three words he just said repeating over and over in my mind. It was an accident.

Once I was outside I pulled the shadows around me and appeared in my house.

I took the boutonnière off my suit and held it in my hand

"Eternal love" I said looking down at the rose before crushing it in my hand and throwing it to the ground.
I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes. I tried to get the words out of my head. After a moment I heard someone walking up to me and opened my eyes to see Jason.

"Go a head and say it" I said bitterly
But he say anything instead he walked over and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry, I was being overprotective and I didn't think he would actually ditch you" Jason said as he pulled away

"Maybe he should go back and be with that girl. Her warm rosy cheeks and beating heart" I said.

"Nico, you have so much to offer then her" Jason said before singing.

"What does that wispy little brat have that you don't have double?
She can't hold a candle to the beauty of your smile"
He sang

"How about a pulse?"
I asked singing half heartedly

"Overrated by a mile
Overfed
Overblown
If he only knew the you that I know"
Jason sang

"And that silly little creature isn't wearing his ring
And she doesn't play piano
Or dance
Or sing
No she doesn't compare"
Jason sang

But she still breathes air
I sang

Who cares?
Unimportant
Overrated
Overblown

If only he could see
How special you can be
If he only knew the you that I know

Jason sang

If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
If you cut me with a knife it's still the same
And I know her heart is beating
And I know that I am dead
Yet the pain here that I feel
Try and tell me it's not real
It seems that I still have a tear to shed
I sang

The sure redeeming feature
From that little creature
Is that she's alive
Overrated
Overblown
Everybody know that's just a temporary state
Which is cured very quickly when we meet our fate

Who cares?
Unimportant
Overrated

How special you can be
If he only knew the you that I know
Jason sang

I sang as I laid down on my bed and curled into a ball and cried.
