Chapter 27

He leans down and places his forehead against hers, the feeling of passing out clouded his mind. Still looking into the eyes of each other he smiles.

"You're going to have to close your eyes" she closed her eyes and he did the same, as the place around them slowly began to fade away and into being surrounded by darkness.

Loki opened his eyes and they were back in the room. He removed his hands from y/n noticing that the bands were gone he looked y/n her hands were no longer glowing and her breathing looked normal.

"Brother," Thor said, a little worried not just about him but about a lady Y/n. Loki finally looked over and noticed the whole team was even Fury. They were sitting in chairs. "She will be fine" Loki answered softly as his head began to spin.

"And you brother," he asked worriedly. Loki rolled his eyes, which didn't help the pounding in his head.
"I will be fine, just a little tired, that's all" he answered.

"What happened to her?" Steve asked. Loki looked at the peacefully sleeping y/n and then turned back to Steve.

"She was protecting everyone by putting herself in a cationic state, and got stuck in a loop of bad memories" he answered.

"But what was she protecting us from?" Sam asked. He was at shield handling something with Fury. He came back as soon as he got the news and so did Fury.

"Herself," he said softly.

"How did this happen," Tony asked. Loki turned his attention from y/n to look at Tony. Loki had an agitated look on his face, but before he could say anything Nat beat him to it.

"You ya dim wit," she said, hitting him on the back of his head.

"When you and she got into that argument you caused her to go into an episode," Bruce said looking at Tony from his seat.

"But she will be okay now right," Fury asked when he said that Loki stiffened "yes she will be just fine" After Loki said that the room fell silent only noise was the rhythm from the heart monitor.

"Brother I think you should get some rest" Thor said breaking the silence, without his bands on Loki could heal a lot faster. "I'm fi-"

Loki was cut off by y/n groaning he turned to look at her. Natasha rushed to her side as she opened her eyes. Natasha helped her sit up and get confurble. The entire team stood up from their chairs.

"Are you okay?" Steve asked, standing up from his chair.
Y/n shook her head yes, she looked at Loki and smiled, loki would have stood but one his chair is right beside her bed and two he would probably pass out if he did.

"I am sorry about what happened early," Tony said, scratching the back of his head. Y/n smiled and nodded her head.

"I have something very important to tell you all so please sit down, and don't say anything until I am done speaking" y/n signed directing the last part to Tony. They all took their seats but Fury.

"Before the avengers I worked with another organization, well not an organization I just" Fury looked at her noticing her struggle and gave her a reassuring smile.

"Okay, when I was about 3 or 4 my father gave me to my uncle. My uncle worked for this place that I soon found out would be the reason why I'm deaf, why I have scars, and why I am an assassin." The team all looked at her in surprise.

"So I guess it's time for you to know. I grew up in Hydra." Steve's face looked scared when he heard her say that, bringing him back to the memory of rescuing his best friend Bucky from a testing table in their lab so many years ago.
