a few mins later I heard knocking on the front door, I paused my show and walked downstairs to open the door. once I opened the door I saw Gabriel standing there with flowers

Y- flowers? really

he smiled at me and I pulled him into a hug which he immediately hugged back, after 1 long hug we heard someone clear their throat. I turned around and saw Ricky standing there along with the rest including Gabe but he was standing in the back

Y- guys meet Gabriel
R- so you and my sister
Ga- chill me and your sister are friends
A- would you ever date her?
Ga- I mean yeah who wouldn't, any guy would be lucky to have her
J- ¿Es cierto que hablas español?
Ga- sí, hablo español, lo aprendí en la escuela secundaria
R- I like him
N- Y/n come with us real quick

I followed Natalie and Grace to the kitchen and left Gabriel with the boys

N- and where did you meet him?
Y- I met him at a place in Phoenix (y'all in San Antonio right now)
Gr- and what place would that be?
Y- mall
N- damn my bestie already getting a new boyfriend
Y- chill we're just friends

we walked to the living room and saw them exchanging numbers but not Gabe

Y- I see you guys got along pretty well
R- yeah he's chill
J- and funny
A- and respectful

I looked over at Gabe who was just in the corner keeping distance so I walked up to him

Y- you okay?
G- I'm fine just um- tired
Y- did you meet Gabriel
G- no and-
Y- come meet him
G- ima go-
Y- before you leave at least just meet him for me please, I want you guys to get along and I get it your overprotective but still
G- fine

I pulled him by the arm and bringing him to where Gabriel was at

Y- Gabriel this is my best friend Gabe
Ga- oh yeah your the one she talks about to me, I'm Gabriel Torres
G- Gabriel Salazar
Ga- it's nice to meet you actual, I've heard a lot of great things about you
G- really?
Ga- yeah your the wepa king in the group
G- idk bout all that
Y- you two seem to be hitting it off
G- yeah I guess um I should go now

before Ricky can talk to him he walked out

R- okay well Gabriel there's a dance tonight you down to go
Ga- yeah im down
A- bet it starts at 7 so be ready
Ga- of course I just have to go back to my apartment and get ready cuz technically it starts in 2 hours
J- yeah
Y- let me walk you out

he smiled at me and we walked out the door

Ga- your friends are chill and so is your brother
Y- yeah well not always, they can be a bit overprotective especially my brother and Gabe
Ga- yeah about your friend Gabe he seems off
Y- what do you mean?
Ga- it's like he has something for you and if you guys do have something going on I-
Y- we have nothing going on, Gabe is just my best friend plus I'd never date my "Brothers Best Friend"
Ga- right well I'll see you soon

he kissed my head and got in his car, driving off. I walked back inside and saw the group smiling

Y- what?
A- you like him

J- yeah you do

I threw a pillow at them and ran upstairs. I found so clothes to wear tonight, as I was looking for a shirt someone came knocking on my door

Y- come in

the door opened and it was Ricky standing there

Y- oh hey what's up?
R- you sure Gabriel's the right one?
Y- what are you talking about
R- nothing you know just pretend this conversation never happened

as Ricky was about to walk out I dragged him back in and locked my door

Y- is there something your not telling me?
R- what? no! of course not you know I tell you everything sis-
Y- your lying
R- I'm not okay I just-

he unlocked my door and walked out, I grabbed my outfit and went to take a shower after I got done I got changed into this

I did light makeup and got a call from Gabriel

Ga- hey sorry to tell you this but I can't make it, but I'll make it up to you
Y- don't worry I'll just take Gabe with me
Ga- oh...yeah okay

I hung up and called Gabe since he wasn't here

G- hello?
Y- hey I was wondering if you wanna go with me to the baile
G- sorry I-
Y- please. Gabriel ditched me and I don't wanna be alone
G- you have your brother
Y- he's gonna be with some girl
G- fine let me get ready and I'll be in my way
Y- thank you, I love you and I owe you

he laughed and hung up, I walked downstairs and the group was sitting down watching something

R- is Gabriel picking you up?
Y- no but Gabe is
A- Gabe?
J- I thought you were going with Gabriel
N- yeah what happened
Y- well he ditched me so I'm taking Gabe
R- that's why you should never trusted that Ga-
Y- Por favor, no empieces Ricky
R- sorry

a few minutes later I heard a honk outside meaning it was Gabe

Y- that's my ride see you guys there
R- please be careful
Y- I will, love you
R- love you too

I grabbed my stuff and opened the door but only to see Gabriel and Gabe standing by there car while giving each other a death stare. I stood by the door and the group came

Gr- hey why'd you-

she cut herself off seeing Gabriel and Gabe standing there

R- what the hell is going on?
Y- I don't know I ju-
G- Y/n? I thought you said he ditched you
Y- he did I just don't know why he's here?
Ga- I changed my mind
Y- and you didn't call?
Ga- it was last minute
Y- I-
A- that's it?! choose
Y- what are you talking about?
J- who's it gonna be? Gabe or Gabriel
Y- I-
R- she's not choosing between either of them
