You took his silence as a message that said, "Please come help me [Name] I'm sorry, but I refuse to acknowledge defeat out loud," and you walked over to him, silently assisting the youngster up the stairs and into his room.
Oikawa is seated on the bed, on his back, staring at the ceiling. You knew how much this bothered him on the inside; he despised being left behind because of a blunder with his knee. You warned him to be careful and not overwork himself, but he didn't heed your advice.
Even Iwaizumi advised him to slow down and relax, saying that he didn't need to overwork his body. Iwaizumi, on the other hand, couldn't seem to connect with his boyhood pal.
You hoped he would take better care of himself as a result of this experience. You sighed and began making your way back downstairs to prepare something for him to eat.
Before you made it all the way downstairs, Oikawa called for you at the top of the steps
