Underhanded tactics

Waking up from a night that seemed liked a blur. Oobi began to gain his bearings when he heard Conan " Goodmorning sleepy head made you some eggs." Oobi saw that he slept in Conan's bed and he was naked, but it was typical for Oobi to be naked so that wasn't really a shock. Oobi's head was pounding with a headache as he ate eggs and chewed aspirin. Oobi doesn't seem to remember the night very much but he was more concerned with figuring out his current predicament. Conan speaks up " So we're going to the park today right Oobi?" Oobi drops his fork and quickly picks it back up and continues eating but clearly bothered that his day made this turn. Oobi replies " Oh um sure. Ah Oobi no walk fast. Conan much faster." Conan pulls out a wicker basket he had. Inside it had a throw pillow for comfort. Conan with a smile " I got you covered! Also, I packed us a picnic basket for after our walk. I know the perfect spot." Oobi paused from eating his egg and was visibly shaken but went along with it anyways. After he finished Oobi climbed down and into the wicker basket. Conan picked Oobi up and went down the elevator. While it was nice how fast Oobi was moving while being carried in the basket but he did feel humiliated being carried around in the basket. Conan was carrying Oobi in the basket in one hand and the picnic basket in the other. As he walks he swings both baskets around happily. All the while asking questions about Oobi's personal life. Most of the questions dealt with how Oobi was just a hand and how he functions. Oobi was honest and straightforward in his answers but each question wore Oobi down little by little. By the time they sat down Oobi was exhausted from the onslaught of questions and frankly wanted the day to end. Conan brought ham sandwiches and was passing the knife to Oobi so he could cut the sandwich how he wanted to. As Oobi cut his sandwich he was rehearsing how he was going to politely end today's meeting so he could go home. As he was thinking a disheveled man was shambling down the path. His eyes were glazed over with a thousand-yard stare of a man who just lost everything. He looks up and sees Conan eating a hardy Ham sandwich. His indifferent gaze turned to white-hot rage as he charged down Conan and began to choke him. The man screamed " You ruined my FUCKING LIFE!!!!! Because of that dumb Oobi episode, you HAD to have I got laid off because of that stunt. And you have the freaking balls to eat a ham sandwich in front of me like that!?!?!?!?" Conan was extremely confused and panicking since he was being choked to death. Oobi did the only he could think of and that was to jump into action. Oobi hopped up and stabbed the stranger in the back. The angry man fell to the ground motionless, Conan was released and coughed. When the police and ambulance arrived they placed a blanket on both Oobi and Conan. Oobi was horrified at the idea that he might have just murdered a man on a spontaneous ham picnic he didn't want to go to. On the other hand, Conan's face was glowing with the biggest smile on his face. Oobi sheepishly looked over and noticed Conan's face and Conan began to speak "Oobi.... You saved my life! I.. I owe you so much for that." Oobi waves him off " Oh no need. It was right thing to do." Conan interjects " No Oobi its not fine I owe you for this and if I don't make things right I might just die. I really don't think I could go on without you Oobi and I think we should move in with each other." Oobi did a double-take at Conan and began to speak " Wha.." He couldn't finish the word before Conan gave Oobi a kiss and it shocked Oobi into silence. This is what began their new living arrangements.
