When Ryan woke up the next morning, everything was normal for him. To him, today was the day that Grace would know that she was truly worthy of love. He made sure to remind the other boys of today's surprise.

Grace, on the other hand, was not having a good time. After Laura and the mystery man kidnapped her, they took her to a deserted place and threw her in a pit of dust. She was only able to sleep because of her exhaustion. Only one thing was on her mind, Ryan.

When she opened her eyes to the sunlight, she almost fainted at the sight. She was truly in need to help. Her clothes were all ripped and she had a dirty rag tied around her mouth. She tried to sit up, but that proved hard, because her hands and feet were tied.

She was alone and had less hope than before. She looked around to see if there was any way she could get herself out of this. She saw a shiny silver object close to her. A phone! She had found a way out!

Grace began to crawl toward it. An unknown force grabbed her by her hair and pulled her back. She screamed out in terror, but it was muffled by the cloth in her mouth.

"Get her phone, Dallon!" The words spilled out of Laura's mouth. Grace didn't know who this Dallon guy was, but it was fairly obvious that Dallon was the guy who pulled her hair.

"Don't worry, I got it." Dallon said. Dallon picked up the phone and gave it to Laura. Hopefully, she wouldn't break it. Laura put the phone in her pocket.

"Come on, Dallon. We have to go or I'll be late for school. Won't that look suspicious."

They both got into a car and drove off, leaving Grace there. The sun was raining down on her. Sweat began to form on her body and she just laid there. What could she do?

Grace had to try and get out, but she was so weak and tired. She somehow mustered up enough strength to sit up and look around. She saw nothing but broken glass everywhere.

She thought all hope was lost for her, until she remembered something. Grace remembered when she was watching a movie. She remembered that the girl in the movie cut rope with pieces of glass.

Grace crawled over to a large sharp piece of glass. She picked it up and slid it against the rope. Soon, her hands were free and she continued to untie her feet.

She had small cuts on her wrist, but covered them up with the cloth that was in her mouth. Walking wasn't easy, because her legs were numb. She was limping, but that wasn't going to stop her sudden adrenaline rush.

While Grace was stranded in the middle of nowhere, Ryan was at school. He didn't think it was weird for Grace not to show up at school. She and him had been absent for the past week.

"Ryan, you really poured your soul into this one!" Brendon exclaimed. He had backed out of helping Laura. Well he had only backed out after Spencer had found out and lectured him not to do it.

"Yeah, man. This is deep." Spencer said. Of course they all ment it in the highest of compliment. Nobody could write like Ryan. I mean they could all write music, but Ryan was the best.

"Uh thanks. It's for Grace." Spencer looked over at Brendon who was looking over lyrics. "I want us to play it for her, today actually."

"Oh wow okay. When?" Jon asked. He didn't think they could master a song in less than a day, but he would do it to help out a friend.

"Well, she'll most likely be home tomorrow so I want to do it like outside her house or something." Ryan explained his master plan to wow Grace.

"That sounds like a great idea! Like Romeo and Juliet!" Brendon exclaimed. He realized that he didn't have to be the most important person in Ryan's life, but he still wanted to be high up there.

Grace was able to get back into town and to the nearest house. She knocked on the door vigorously. "Help me please!"

An elderly woman opened the door and looked at Grace modified. She was taken back and worried. "Can I please use your phone?" The old lady nodded and gave Grace her house phone.

Grace called the only person who she knew cared. Well she didn't think it, but deep down she knew that he cared. Ryan.

The phone rang twice before Ryan picked up with is sweet voice. "Hello beautiful." He was so happy to hear the voice of the sweet girl.

"R-ryan," her voice was dry and she could barely speak. The old woman rushed to get her a glass of water.

"Grace what's wrong?" Ryan got really worried. He didn't like hearing her voice like this, or the quiver that she made.

Grace was handed a glass of water and she took a big gulp, before starting to talk again. "Look, I'll explain everything later, I just need you to come and get me."

"Um okay." Ryan wasn't really sure as to why he needed to pick her up, but he complied with it, because he loved Grace and would do anything for her.

Grace told him where she was and he quickly set off. He didn't care if he would have gotten detention for leaving school. Grace thanked the woman and waited for Ryan to pick her up on the porch.

After about twenty minutes, Ryan was outside of the small house. Grace got into the car and started crying. "Grace, you have to tell me what happened to you."

"W-well, last night w-when you left, I got ready for bed then these people came into my house and put a bag over my head. When I woke up, I was in a pit and- oh God Ryan is was so scary and I was tied up and I have cuts and-" She couldn't bare speak anymore. It was too horrible to explain.

"Grace-I- this is all my fault. I should have never left you! I'm sorry Grace. I love you and I let this happen to you if I was with you this never would have happened." Ryan started crying into his hands. He truly believed that it was his fault.

"No, Ryan. It was my fault. I made you leave and you didn't do anything. It wasn't your fault that Laura and that guy kidnapped me."

"Wait, Laura? And which guy?" Ryan looked up. His eyes were red and puffy. He was now simply mad and was willing to do anything to anyone who hurt Grace.

"Um his name was Dalton or Dallon." She said thinking that it didn't matter. Ryan knew exactly who she was talking about. He was ready to kill Dallon Weekes. "Can you just take me home?"

After this hard day, Grace just wanted to go home and listen to Ryan sing to her. Sadly, she knew Ryan would leave her. She didn't want to ask him if he would stay, but she really wanted him too.

"Yes, of course I'm staying with you." Ryan said smiling. Grace's face turned red and she wondered if she said that out loud.

"Thank you." She said happily. Nothing would make her feel better than having ryan wrap his slender arm around her and she would fall asleep wrapped in his warmth.

Next chapter will have some cuteness in it. I can't wait for you guys to see it!
