CHAPTER ~ 17

Here's the next update! I'm updating this chapter today as I had already written it. And just today all my tests got over. Toh thoda rest lungi yaar 😅.. Haan agar mujhse likha gya toh I'll update tomorrow.. Or else the next update would be on Sunday or Monday. 😊

The next day she was laying on the bed. Sidharth came in with some fruits and juice for her so that she could get some energy to walk atleast.

" Shehnaaz! " He said as he saw her engrossed in her thoughts. She looked at him with an exhausted eyes. He heart broke looking at her like that.

" Sidharth.. Baba?! " She opened her mouth saying this  . This nearly made him cry internally. She was so much done with this and that showed on her face. Looking at her he decided to go to her house and ask for their forgiveness and also ask about her father.
He kept the tray in front of her and signaled her to eat. But she kept looking at him with some kind of hope that he'd take her to her father . He bent forward and pressed a kiss to her forehead before going .

She looked at him and felt all her hopes going in vain .  She heard him saying something to someone, some girl?!  She frowned. But then shrugging of her thoughts which were doubting him.. She kept her head on the head rest . She hear  some step coming inside the room.
Suddenly she saw a young girl nearly of her own age .

" Assalamualaikum. " The girl greeted her smiling sweetly. Shehnaaz too smiled and replied her with ' walaikum assalam! '

" Myself Inaya.. and you're shehnaaz right?! " She firstly introduced herself cheerfully and then asked her name.

" Ji..! " Shehnaaz smiled as she saw herself in her.

" Are! You haven't eaten till now.. Come on eat fast.. Otherwise bhai will scold me.. " She said faking her fear. Shehnaaz frowned hearing the word ' bhai ' .

" Bhai? " She asked hasitantly.

" Haan.. Sidharth bhai! Kya hua aise kyun puch rahi aap?! " Asked Inaya very innocently .

" No no.. Just.. I didn't knew he has a sister too! " She frowned trying to remember that whether Sidharth ever told her about Inaya but then shrugged her shoulder as she couldn't remember..

" Well! I ain't his own sister.. Actually when I was 14 , my parents and I had a car accident. Toh mamma aur dad ki death ho gayi thi.. And having no one in my family I roamed on the streets for about 3 to 4 days. Tab ek din he saw me..and took me with him to someone's house. Wahan ek aunty thi and unke 3 bete the ..unhone mujhe kisi orphanage me na chor kr ihne de diya..Toh ab mai khuch bhaiya aur unki mamma ke saath rehti hun... And they are too kind. Aur aap ko pata hai mai na wo aunty ko aunty nahi mamma bulati hun.. Kyunki agar mai unhe aunty bulati toh gossa krti. " Inaya described her story were innocently.

" Aur pata hai aap ko... Sidharth bhai ne mere padhai ka zimma uthaya.. " She said happily making shehnaaz smile in admiration for both, the girl and her man..

" What's your age?! " Shehnaaz asked wondering.

" 19 ! But will soon turn to 20 .. Mera birthday aa raha hai.. Aap hogi na.. Bohot mazza ayega..! " She said clapping her hands as she got excited. Shehnaaz smiled at her excitement. She's much younger than shehnaaz. Shehnaaz is now going to be 25 and this girl with going to turn 20 .

" Aap ko pata hai.. Aap bohot pyari ho.. Bhai used to talk about you alot. And I always wanted to meet you... " She said squealing. Shehnaaz laughed, she laughed after so long which felt so nice to her. Her heart felt alive after so many days.

" Tum bhi kaafi pyari ho.. Waise sidharth kaha gaye?! " Shehnaaz asked her. She smiled.

" Mujhe nahi pata.. Unhone kaha ke unhe khuch kaam hai.. Toh mujhe yahan rehne ko kaha.. " She said.
