Gi-hun hadn't noticed you before the first game,it was only after everyone returned when he saw you eating the food given to you by the guards. He watched how your hair occasionally fell into your face after continually pushing it back,taking a second to admire you once more before moving his attention back to his group.

You managed to get through the fourth game after picking a woman you became friends with during the games and winning. He watched you quietly cry while making your way back to the beds,everything was silent except for people chewing their food and some sniffling from some of the crying players. Gi-hun sat staring at the floor lost in thought,his mind going back to everything that just happened.

Gi-hun approached you after Sangwoo yelled at player 69,you felt the bed shift as he sat beside you gently,"are you ok?" you slowly looked up at him before shrugging your shoulders softly. Running your fingers through your hair you let out a sigh,"not too good and what about you,number..456?" your eyes scanned the man beside you,his fingers picking at his nails as if he was nervous.

He smiled slightly before nudging you,"my name is Seong Gi-hun" he nodded at you before turning to look at the floor,"and,im sorry to hear that,i understand how you feel."

You moved so he could have more room on the bed before you looked at your hands and smiled,"i'm (name),its nice to meet you Gi-hun." He moved to sit in front of you,the two of you started talking about each other and everything that's happened,and for a moment you guys almost let the games and deaths leave your mind.

Gi-hun let out a small hum as you took a bite of your potato,"so,do you..have a boyfriend at home or husband?" He hesitantly asked with a curious tone,looking down and taking a bite of his potato too. You quickly shook your head before letting out a laugh,"I probably wouldn't be here if I did. Why? Do you want to make a move here,mister?" you jokingly tapped him with your elbow and looked at him with a small smile.

He opened his mouth in shock before smiling nervously and shaking his head,"no,no I-" his sentence was cut short when the two of you were notified about the bedtime(?) Gi-hun sighed softly as you shook your head in disappointment,"looks like its time to sleep,thank you again Gi-hun,goodnight."

Gi-hun said goodnight before going to his bed,he watched as you slip under the covers and wave at him before closing your eyes. His shoulders relaxed as he replayed the conversation in his head,laying down and falling asleep soon after the lights went out.
