I didn't realise when I dozed off. I woke up to soft panting coming from my right side. I reached out to feel what was the source of the panting when I felt fur, soft fur, I further roamed my hand and felt a wet spot and then something licked me! I opened my eyes and turned towards the fury source and saw two golden eyes  stare at me. I retracted my hand and shifted back as far as I could go. I stood in the far corner of the room, hand over my chest as I stared at the black wolf.
"Hunter?" I called rather asked.
The wolf trotted towards me and woofed, it nuzzled it head into my hand and booped it's wet nose to my exposed belly. Cold! It nodded it's head and then sat down in front of me.
You got to be kidding me. Hunter in a wolf form looked so cute! he came upto just above my belly button which was huge for a wolf. Grinning I sat down in front of him
"You look like a giant dog. " I said running my hand through his fur. When I used to assasinate the wolves I never looked at them, I just killed them without checking whether they were cute. Now that I wasn't killing one, I took my time to appreciate them, I mean if we don't go for the fact that some of them kill us then they look very innocent. Talking about Hunter, his fur was black, soft, lucious and shinny, his eyes we're golden and he looked cute. I saw that as I petted him his ears went down and his tail wagged and a sound like purr came out from him. I sat crosslegged and soon he just rested his head and front paws in my lap. I stilled for a moment before continuing to pet him. When my hands were tired I rested my hands on his fur and he whimpered
"Sorry bro, my hands are tired" I said. He stood up and began to lick my face
"Uhm Hunter, as much as I appreciate your wolf I dont think I like being licked like this on my face, specially not right now. " I said. I wasn't a fan of dogs licking my face let alone wolves. He stared at me guilty.
As I stared at him I remembered something, rather someone I needed now.
"Hunter transform back to a human we need to talk" I said standing up  my tummy booping his nose. He nodded and wondered into the bathroom. A while later he came back with shorts on.
"Where is your shirt? " I asked oogling his body
"Can't find it. " He said scratching his head. Clearly he worked out a lot, he had freaking 8 abs.
I shook my head and then spoke
"I need to go home, I have something to get" I said and he nodded.
"I'll get the car ready." He said as he walked out of the room grabbing a random shirt from the almirah.
I walked down after grabbing a jacket, it was getting cold.
The drive to my house was silence. Casper please be alive and at home.
Once we reached, I leaped out of the car and ran inside, Hunter hot on my heels
"Casper... Casper... Hey kitty kitty... Where are you? " I called. I heard a meow and then a white blue eyed perssian cat came running out
"Meow".
" Casper, thank god you're okay" I said cuddling her.
"You own a cat! " Asked Hunter as be stood next me and stared at the cat with a weird expression.
"Yes, her name is Casper and she is staying with us" I said petting my cat
"Uhm Lizzy, I am a wolf" He said
"I don't care. Wolf or no wolf,  Casper and I are a package deal. You want me to stay then Casper will also stay. I am trying to accept you and your pack, you guys also have to show some efforts. " I said and he looked at me wide eyed and then stared at  Casper who leaped out of my arms and curled up at his feet. With a thin lipped smile he nodded
"Fine, but she will not ne sleeping on the bed" He said
"She will sleep wherever she pleases" I said and walked back to the car
"Lizzy, I can't sleep with a cat" He said whining
"Become friends with her, she is staying" I said as I sat down on the passenger side with Casper on my lap. Hunter looked pissed. He sighed before walking to the drivers side and started the engine.
Once we reached the cottege, Elena greeted us and then laughed when she saw Casper in my arms and Hunter's expression
"Who is this beauty" She asked letting Casper on the head while she purred
"Casper, my cat. She will be staying with us. " I said to Elena and then turned to Hunter
"You and I need to go cat food shopping. " I said. He grimaced
"Elena do you mind cat sitting her for a while. We won't be long" I said and she nodded.
"It will be my pleasure lu- Elizabeth. " She said taking Casper in her arms. I knew  she and Casper would get along well. Casper was a friendly cat who loved anyone who came in contact with her, be it human, dog or wolf.
I grabbed Hunter's hand, ignoring the tingling feeling and led him to the car.
"I'll drive" I announced
"No you won't, I can't risk my porch  being destroyed " He said and I have him one angry looked and be sighed. Tossing me the keys he sat down on the passenger side.

We had reached the pet shop a when later, I skimmed the cat aisle and found all the food and treats required. I took some toys and tossed them into the basket. I then arched my eye brow and glanced at Hunter.
"Do you need anything for your wolf? I mean a leash, a bed or some toys? " I asked and he glared at me
"I am a wolf, am alpha wolf I am not a dog and definitely not domesticted. You can't buy me dog beds and leashes! " He whispered -hissed -yelled and I laughed.
"Fine. Guess wolfy does not want any things, Hunter grab that bed  for casper" I said pointing  at a soft  off white bed. He glared at me but grabbed it.
After paying for the stuff, we sat down, Casper slept on the new cat bed in our room
"Thank you for letting Casper stay" I said. I kissed his cheek  spontaneously shocking me and him both. Blushing I turned my head towards the other side and slept.
"Well I had no choice but your welcome I guess. " He said before turning the lights off and snuggling in the duvet.
