Jennie is seated at the back of the car, reading a pamphlet of YG Academy. Looking through some picture of students smiling widely in a grassy field, horseback riding and some even doing some sports.
As the car keeps moving towards its destination, she lifted her head and removed her earphones, mouth agape with awe. In her line of vision, a huge building came into view. Standing proud on top of a hill was a school that looks like a castle and Jennie can't help but to admire the outlook.
"Is that it?" she asked intrigued.
"Must be." Her dad replied.
She looked outside the window again. As the BMW drove through the huge gate with the school's initials, opened then closed by the two security, Mr. Kim continued his drive within the school grounds until he reached the main entrance.
Getting out of the car, Mr. Kim immediately engulfed Jennie into a tight hug, feeling the warmth radiated around her. It was a bit chilly as the school is located on top of a hill. Jennie dressed comfortably with black skinny jeans, a white top covered with black leather jackets and her doc marten boots. She covered her neck with a simple black and gold scarf to get rid of the cold.
"We love you" Mr. Kim whispered to his daughter and pressed a kiss on her temple.
Her mother reached to the back of the car, to remove her luggage from the trunk, put them aside and did the same thing Mr. Kim did just a few seconds ago.
Mrs. Kim embraced her daughter and kissed her on her forehead.
"My baby... I just wish I know how to help you." Mrs. Kim said
"I'll be fine" Jennie replied.
"Ok. Here..." Mrs. Kim said as she put a rectangular pink colored box in Jennie's hands. "It's small. But I wanted you to have something on your birthday" she continued.
"Thank you. I love you" Jennie said to her mother one last time and hugged her tighter. To then letting her mother go and went to her dad and did the same to him.
"Bye dad." She said for the last time as they got back in the car and drove away.
Jennie stood there to wave them goodbye, until they were no longer in sight. Reluctantly, Jennie pulled her luggage with her into the front entrance. She looked at the building in front of her, then to her surroundings carefully. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw something looking out the window at her. Not knowing anybody in the new school, she thought that it was just out of curiosity that other students are looking at her. She shrugged and continued making her way in until she came a across a wide staircase and climbed up the short steps to what looks like the school's lobby.
Looking to the left there are marbled staircase on the left, hallways of every floor can been seen from the lobby where Jennie stood. A portrait of an old man can be seen hanging up on the wall behind a desk in the middle of the lobby. From what Jennie can tell is probably a portrait of the founder of this place with a name at the bottom. An inscription. In the opposite of it is the school's crest. The colors of the pillars around is white and the walls grey.
The details of the building are beautiful. Like a work of art. The walls are carved to look like the inside of the Sistine Chapel. Ceiling is made of glass and shaped like a pyramid. Jennie can only look in awe.
She is then greeted by a handsome, probably looks like a middle-aged man.
"Welcome to YG Academy. For over 75 years we have served adolescence who, because of social and or emotional challenges that they face—"
