The night when Drag's project was finished quickly arrived. This project, as Hammer had described, was a shopping district made specifically for Beasts, to strengthen their bonds with humans. But tonight was a little more special than that. For its opening ceremony, every store was lit up with bright and colorful bulbs, and crowds were everywhere. It's essentially another festival, really.

The ceremony was open to the public, and anyone interested could simply walk in and have fun. Toel and Volkan were specially invited to join, however. Drag was the sender of the invitations, even though he wasn't able to make it himself. As thankful as they were, the invitation was quite unnecessary, since they were planning to check on their lizardman representatives anyway. And it's not like being "special quests" give them any perk or anything.

Well, there is one thing that you could call a "perk".

"Shall we go?" Strinder said to the two as they prepared for their departure. Apparently, Strinder was instructed to be their sort of "tour guide". Rigurd was worried about his king and his king's master's safety, but once he learned about Strinder joining in, he saw him as their "bodyguard" and let them on their way.

"Yeah, we can leave now," Toel answered Strinder and the three began their journey. "Are you sure about this? Shouldn't you be helping Drag with whatever he's doing?"

"Nah, he's got his little dragon boyfriend and his shark assassin. He'd be fine without me, I'm more of a free spirit."

"What do you mean by that?" Volkan asked.

"Oh, you know. Sure I could maybe shock people to death, yeah, but combat ain't really my style. I'm more of a... freelance musician if you will."

"You play music?" Toel was slightly confused.

"Oh yeah! I'm BORN to play music! Watch this." As he said that, he rushed to the front of Toel and Volkan, and began playing air guitar. But as he did, strings of electrical current began forming in the air in front of his stomach. The strings took shape of a guitar's strings. His finger ran through them, and the strings vibrated as the sound of loud electric guitar rang through the two's ears.

"Oh wow!" Toel was quite fascinated by it. He recently got into music, but he could of course never be able to afford the instruments. He also doubted he had the patience to learn them. "That's so cool! You really just took 'air guitar' to another level!"

"Yup! Pretty dope, right?" Strinder grinned. "Want me to play some music for you? I shall be your 'Travelling DJ'!"

"Thank you for your offer, Sir Strinder. But I think I rather enjoy the quiet scenery of the forest path instead. Your electric guitar does not suit the mood very well." Volkan was the first to reject. "Ah! Un- Unless Toel-sama wanted to...?"

"Nah, you're right." As much as he enjoyed the intense sound of rocking electric guitar music, some peaceful sounds would go better with their walking. Perhaps acoustic guitar may work, but that's probably too much to ask for. "Some other time, maybe."

"Suit yourself." Strinder didn't seem too bothered by the rejection, instead, he simply shrugged and moved along.

The cool evening breeze blew through Toel as they walked. Sounds of leaves rustling each other filled the road. It was almost nighttime, the bright orange sun could be barely seen behind them. And by the time they arrived at the destination, the sky had turned completely dark, with sparkling stars filled. But the street was ignited like daylight, with all the light decoration and the shops. Various kinds of beasts were standing in their respective shops, selling all kinds of things that humans had never seen before, including their specialty food, their own style of clothing specially made for humans, and even potions that only existed in RPG video games.
