Weeks had passed since the last event that happened between the lizardmen and the rebel group. Peace had finally returned to the world, and everyone had finally become accepting of the existence of Beasts. The new living with humans and beasts was now the new norm.

The Blue Tribe Village was also back to their usual businesses as well. Well, as much as they could with Volkan now being their new king. Volkan tried to live up to his father's name, but in the end, he would always overwork himself to a point when he became sick.

Volkan felt horribly disappointed at himself, but Toel made sure he would never try to think like that by slapping his face every time Volkan talked down on himself. Eventually, Volkan became tired of his maneuver that he stopped overworking so he would not have those thoughts, for the purpose of simply not getting slapped in the face. At least it was proved to be effective.

In the end, Toel gave him a piece of advice, which actually cheered Volkan quite a bit. "You got plenty of time to practice anyway. And you got me cheering you on! I'm sure soon you'll catch up, or no, you'll surpass your father's skill!" That somehow boosted his confidence.

Speaking of father, Toel's parents also paid a visit to him quite regularly. They mostly came to check on how Toel had been going. They never stopped being so overwhelmingly proud of Toel for doing so many good deeds for the village. Although Toel felt most of his time in the village was spent slouching around.

Today, as usual, they came to Toel's place (which is also Volkan's place) to visit him again. But this time there was an extra member.

"Toel, meet your younger sister, Anna!" Mom began introducing Toel's sister to him. Anna, the younger sister, stood behind Mom and stared at Toel cautiously. She looked about the age of 13. Toel tried to wave at her, but Anna simply stared at him more intensely.

It's a little sad, but Toel was understanding. You're living your life normally and one day Mom suddenly came and brought you a stranger that was supposed to be your older brother. I would've been a little freaked out too.

So to familiarise himself with Anna, Toel decided to bring her to the market together, along with Mom and Dad.

First, Toel brought her to the village's proudest merchants, Gabiru and Abiru. But it turned out there was another special quest waiting for Toel.

"Hello, Mr. Toel! Great to see you again," Koby the dog merchant appeared in the stall, along with Abiru and Gabiru. He was cooking up meat skewers he was selling the other day.

"Woah Koby! Didn't think I'd see you here! What are ya up to?" Toel was surprised by Koby's appearance, but that surprise was quickly replaced by excitement and eagerness to try out the meat skewers again.

"We made a little business deal, 'cause Mr. Gabiru here really likes my skewers! So from now on I'll occasionally come by and sell! Would you like some? I remembered you really liked it as well."

"Hell yeah! Same as that day, please!" Toel then remembered his new sister standing by, confused. "Would you like to try some? It's really good."

"...What meat is it?" Anna asked cautiously.

"Haha! Don't worry miss! It's your usual delicious beef meat! Of course with our secret recipe of seasoning, but all the ingredients are not so different than your human's stuff."

"...Alright. I'll try one." Looked like it was going to take a while to warm up with her, but Toel tried to remain patient. Toel turned to Mom and Dad and asked, "How about you? I'll pay, of course."

"How sweet of you, but do you really have that much money to spend?" Mom asked.

"Haha, don't worry. Volkan gave me quite an amount of allowance." It was way more than Toel needed, and so much Volkan would probably get into trouble if Rigurd learned of it, but they didn't need to know that.
