A/N: ok, so I LOVE Frank's character, and I'm thinking of making an actual book for him, so let me know if there's anything specific you want me to write. I also changed the pronouns to she/her, I'm really sorry, but it's hard to keep up cos it's a series, but I'll do neutral pronouns in one shots.
(Also, this series used to be called 'I'm stone cold, yet you're making me laugh', it's the same story, but I changed it to a song lyric, cos all the other titles are song lyrics, and it was bugging me).

Also! Just to clear things up, this is set in season 3 (without too many spoilers, hopefully). Jeff and Isaac know about time travel, but in this, no one's memories were wiped. Pinky, Clive, and Thea are there too, and everyone gets along. I might add Nico later for a bit of drama. Enjoy!

Warning: swearing, most likely

The next day, y/n was warming up in a practice room. It was Saturday. A weekend. And y/n was working.

I know, I know! Y/n had been told by everyone - including Miss Caréy and Mr Castillo - that she was pushing herself too hard, but she needed to get this choreo perfect. Y/n was ambitious, competitive. Y/n had to get this just right.

She walked to her phone after warming up, and went to put on the song she chose to do her dance to - American Idiot by Green Day *. However, upon unlocking her phone, she found a notification. It was a message in a group chat she had been added to called 'Time Traveler's Club'. The message was from Frank, telling everyone to meet at the Collectors' place.

Y/n wanted to, she really didn't want to be kept out of the loop, but she didn't have any time to lose. Time travel is cool, but dance is her whole future. Everything rides on this dance... sort of. Either way, y/n knew she had no time to waste thinking about it (and she would, if given the chance, all day even!). She sent a quick text to that's chat saying she couldn't make it, and went to practice her dance.

But not without changing the chat name to 'Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Club'.
-
Five hours later, y/n jumped out of her skin, as her ringtone blared through her speaker, interrupting her song - The Judge by Twenty Øne Piløts. Yes, she changed the song... again.

After American Idiot, it was Vampire Money by My Chemical Romance, then "The Take Over, The Breaks Over" by Fall Out Boy, then Beer by Real Big Fish, and now The Judge. They were all great choices, but y/n just couldn't get into any of them.

Breathing heavily, and legs - no! Everything! - aching, she picked up the phone. It was Ines.

"Hey-" y/n started, but Ines interrupted.

"You need to get here, now! It's really important!"

With that, y/n hung up, grabbed her bag, pulled off her points and replaced them for shoes, and  sprinted.
-
Y/n arrived not long after, and knocked on the door. Well, it was more like banged; she put all of her weight into it, as she felt as if she was ready to pass out completely. She regained her posture (kind of...) when the door opened, and she was let in by Henri.

"Y/n is here!" He shouted loudly to the inhabitants of the apartment.

Everyone was laying around in various positions, whether it be on the sofa, floor or chair.

"Finally! You, are done rehearsing today!" Jeff pointed out, who was at the apartment along with Isaac, Thea, Ines, Lena, Pinky, Clive, and Frank.

Y/n was quick to reply; snappy, and with an exasperated expression. "Y'know, I'm getting really sick you pulling me away from my work!"

"Oh come on," Isaac started, "even I'm relaxing, for once!"

"You need to take it easy for awhile, or you'll ending passing out like you did last year."

Y/n only scowled at this, but didn't actually protest, which was a sign to the others that she'd given up.

At that, all ten of them decided to watch a film - Grown Ups, to be precise - and gathered around by the tv.

Lena and Henri were already on one side of the sofa, and Frank was on the far right; Ines pushed y/n into the empty space on the sofa between Lena and Frank, while her and Pinky sat on the love seat, and Isaac, Jeff and Thea sat on the floor in front of the sofa.

All cwtched up, the group settled to watch the film.

Y/n, got comfortable and leaned into Frank a bit; she assumed he didn't mind, why would he? But Frank tensed and became distracted by the action. He didn't know why, why should he be?

He eventually got comfortable too, and tried his best to ignore the contact. Maybe he was just touch starved, having no mother figure, and running from his father. All that time, with Pinky and Clive as his only friends (more like brothers). Maybe he just wasn't used to being cuddled like she was doing to him right now.

Either way, he knew it wasn't the worst situation to be in, so he let her be, and everyone laughed at the funny antics of Adam Sandler and his gang.

A/N: ok, so this series will probably have a few parts to it, I'm looking to have a bit of a slow burn, and maybe give it an element of enemies to lovers if I make it problematic enough. Please let me know what you think, and absolutely request.
Have a great day/night,

A/N: *I know a lot of people probably don't like that I've inserted a song, but I feel like it would be a genre that Frank would like, and something the two characters could connect with: aka, deal with it. Sorry
