Summary: when the gang are running from the Time Collectors, y/n likes to buy time by yelling 'DISTRACTION' and doing something random before they can react and chase their friends. On one occasion, Frank declares y/n couldn't surprise him with their 'distractions' anymore so they do something completely unexpected.
-
Y/n, Lena, Ines and Henri were cornered. Well... metaphorically. They were running, but the Time Collectors were hot on their tail. Everyone was running out of energy.

What would the trio do if they caught them?

That's when y/n decided to pull out their now signature move. They whisper-yelled to the others to keep going before slowing to a stop. Their plan was to yell 'DISTRACTION' and do something stupid like sing a song really loudly, and then run a different way from their friends.

Their misdirection had worked every time so far. Y/n can only hope it'll work again.

"DISTR-"

"Stop, stop, stop!" Frank interrupted. "You're little 'distraction'," he mocked, "won't work this time. You can't surprise me!" He stated this cockily. He was so sure of himself.

Y/n made a split second decision on what to do. Y/n'll surprise him alright! He'll never see this coming!

"You sure about that Frank? You really sure?"

"Yes! I a-" they cut him off.

He definitely didn't see this coming. They caught him off guard alright.

With their lips pressed firmly to his, he did his best to remember his surroundings, but instead melted into them and let everything else disappear.

It felt so good. So right.

Maybe it's cliche, but it felt like heaven.

It lasted way longer than y/n intended it to be, but in their defence, Frank was kissing them back rather than shoving them off like they thought he would.

But even they had to admit it felt good. It felt really good.

Frank was numb, and had no idea how he was supposed to respond to this. He kissed back all the same, but slowly and carefully.

It was only when they started to slip their tongue past his lips - which felt so good, he was like putty! - that he started to realise what they were actually doing.

"Distraction." Their voice was strong but calm, and they winked before bolting.

They hadn't yelled it this time. That's what they usually did. Either way, he was an idiot. He had let them 'distract' him again. They had gotten away. Again!

He didn't run after them though. He just stood there, licking his lips subconsciously, and wishing he had let their tongue into his mouth.

Before he could get wrapped up in the memory, he stalked off, Pinky and Clive following. Luckily both had enough sense not to say anything - for now at least.

When y/n finally got back to the school, Lena and Ines were waiting worriedly in their room. They collectively sighed in relief when all three were safe in bed. It was late, long after their run-in, but they were all chatting about the days events anyway.

Y/n told them about what they did, and the three giggled with shocked faces about it. Y/n them self still couldn't believe they'd done it! Lena and Ines would have given anything to see the look on Frank's face - before and after!

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Y/n stayed on one bed, laying down with their arm over their face, and Lena stayed on the other, crossed legged, staring at the door that Ines was opening.

There stood Frank, shifting around, looking anxious, and looking like he was about to leave before he saw the door open.

"Ines, it's a Time Collector, close the door!" Lena said hurriedly, and Y/n looked up slightly, but was in too much of a tired haze to be too concerned.

Ines panicked slightly, but saw Frank putting his hands up, and decided to ask him what he wants before shoving the door in his face.

"We can at least hear him out Lena, he's not going to do anything right in the middle of the school."

Without looking up, y/n responded "Not necessarily: nobody's awake, it's unlikely anyone would be able to stop him - this would probably be a perfect opportunity to do something - it's so obvious, it's un-obvious."

Lena's face flashed with concern again, but before she could say anything, Frank responded.

"I'm not! Honestly! I'm, uh, actually here to speak with y/n... if you, umm, if you don't mind."

Lena and Ines looked skeptical, but y/n wasn't worried.

"Ugh! This requires me getting up doesn't it? Ok." They said, finally pulling them self up.

About to walk out the door, Ines pulled them back. "Be careful ok." Lena nodded in agreement with Ines.

"Oh please! I'm always careful!" They knew that was a lie, and Ines gave them an incredulous look, but they just walked out into the hall with Frank, closing the door behind them.

"Sooo..." they started.

"Yeah!" He began slowly, shifting around nervously again. They gave him a pointed look. "So, huh, I came here knowing I wanted to say something, but now that I'm actually here, I don't know what it is that I want to say, so..." he gave a nervous laugh, cheeks reddening.

"Take all the time you need." They said, with a sincere smile.

"So, umm," knowing he couldn't find the words, y/n took the conversation into their own hands, and kissed him deeply.

He walked back into the wall, and flipped them around, so he was pressed against them, with their back touching the wall of the corridor.

When they didn't move away, he fastened the pace, and they slipped their tongue into his mouth. He groaned, and his time he let them. This is what he wanted. This perfect position back.

They ran their tongue round his mouth, and he returned the favour. His hands, that had started on their waist, had started to roam everywhere, and they were letting them, before the finally settled back on their waist.

Their hands were running through his hair. As he ran his tongue round their mouth again, they tugged at his hair lightly, eliciting another moan as he gripped harder on their hips.

They pulled apart, lips red, and gasping for air. His hair was ruffled, and they were both smiling brightly.

"You sure you don't want anymore distractions?" He laughed at their words. "I call a truce, not just between the two of us, but between the others too." They asked.

Just as he was about to shake their hand, he paused.

"Does that mean I can take you on a date instead of showing up at your place hoping you'll kiss me again?"

"Sure. If you're extra nice!" They smiled.

He went in to shake their hand, but this time they stopped.

"Not so fast, Frank. We're going to seal this deal as the people of our country would; we live in France for a reason."

With that, they pulled him into another passionate kiss.
