- Moon Hee San POV.-

A job (at least 30 hours) is a criterium for the class.

This phrase was haunting me 24/7 in the last five weeks. It was a while since the last time I applied for a job. I desperately needed this job for the university. The attendance for the next class was to have a designer job with at least 30 hrs a week. I sent several job applications last week. 3 days later I got the first message late at night. I literally freaked out. I got the message from the most popular designer in Gangnam. I just tried my luck without thinking I would ever get a reply.

Dear Moon Hee San,

Thank you for taking the time to apply for our position. We appreciate your interest in Department 7.95. We want to invite you to a job interview.

Date: Friday, 20 July 2021 - 15 o'clock

Yours sincerely
Nam Hae So

Yes, I freaked out. I simply screamed in front of my MacBook. The job was all that I wanted, and I would give 110% to get it. The job interview was tomorrow. I was already planning everything - searching for information about the company to be on the safe side if they ask questions about it; facts about myself and my outfit. The nervousness wasn't here yet, that's why would sleep like a stone. But tomorrow it would kick for sure. I woke up soaked in sweat. I was nervous because of the interview in the afternoon. I allowed myself a hot long relaxing bath. I need to be relaxed when I'm there and not stiff and fierce. I made myself ready and wore the outfit I chose yesterday. An off-white-colored blouse with a huge collar, black boyfriend jeans, and a pair of leather platform loafers with horse bit. The loafers looked like the ones from Gucci. But they weren't of course. I looked sassy but cute and stylish at the same time. I liked it. My black hair looked like always - they fell straight on my shoulder. I almost missed the subway.

The subway station was extremely crowded. People were coming from every direction. Now I was under stress. I just hoped it wouldn't affect my appearance. I felt overwhelmed by the building size. It was huge. I read on their homepage that the building has 30 floors. I took a deep breath and went through the glass door. I wanted to introduce myself to the female receptionist but she already recognized me.

" You must be Mrs. Moon Hee San. Mrs. Nam Hae So is due to private circumstances not being available. You will have the interview with Mr. Kim Taehyung. Please come with me." I followed her to the elevator. I didn't have acrophobia but the feeling to drive with the elevator so high was daunting. We reached the 21st floor.

 *Ping*

Here we were. She opened the door for me, and I entered. The door was made of glass but it was matted which mean it wasn't see-through.

"Taehyung, Mrs. Moon Hee San is here."  She closed the door and was gone.

I was alone with this guy now. I didn't know what kind of position he has. He was probably someone from the human resources. He was still looking at his paper and writing something. I wasn't sure what I should do now. Keep standing here or taking a sit on one of the sits in front of his desk? I took a short moment and surveyed the whole room. The office room was big and bright. On two sides were only windows which gave me a beautiful view of Gangnam. On the right side were a brown leather sofa and a glass sofa table with some magazines on it, probably fashion magazines. Two armchairs were standing on each side of the table. Beyond the sofa was a huge shelf with tons of records. The shelf took over the whole wall. I was asking myself which music genre he might like. Was it just decoration or did he truly like music? I was so impressed that I almost forgot that I wasn't here to survey the room. I was here to get a job. Suddenly I heard a cough. It was a cough to get somebody's attention.
