Luke is perfection. All day he has been nothing but a sweetheart. He even went and bought me ice cream. And not just any ice cream, no, he bought me Ben and Jerry's!
"Luke stop!" I squealed as he tickled my side.
"Make me." he said, tickling me even more. I wormed out of his arms and onto the floor. Luke looked over me from the couch.
"You're evil." I said. He just laughed and walked over to me. I started standing up before he pulled me into his rock hard chest. He was leaning in and I smiled. I was ready to experience those delicious lips once again and-
"Alpha!" Someone ran in one us. I jumped away from Luke like I was caught sticking my hand in the cookie jar.
"What?" Looked growled angrily. The man before us bowed his head in submission before continuing.
"We have caught an intruder on our premises." he said. Luke growled again before dismissing the man and turning to me.
"Stay in our room." he said before giving me a slight push in the direction of the stairs. I nod but catch his arm before he runs off.
"Don't do anything stupid." I say with a small smile before heading up the stairs.

LUKE'S POV
"Don't do anything stupid." she says before running upstairs. I smirk before realizing that the intruder still needs to be questioned. I groaned as I went to the clearing near the pack house. A young girl maybe eleven or twelve stood with her arms behind her back bounded by rope.
"Why are you on my land?" I ask in a monotone voice. She shakes slightly before taking a breath.
"I- uh I was told to bring a message to the alpha and new luna-" I growled cutting her off. She flinched but continued.
"She will be with the one she belongs with soon, and far away from you." the last two words are strained. But I'm far to angry to care.
"Bring her to the cells." I say before turning around.
"No! No please! No! No!" The sound of her screaming and sobs fill the air as she is whisked away.

NALA'S POV
My gut twisted as I heard the painful screams of a child. I wanted to cry myself by how much emotion was put into every word the child yelled. I couldn't take it anymore and I ran down the stairs (and accidentally knocked down a painting). I made to the front door but it opened to reveal an angry Luke before me.
"Why aren't you upstairs?" He asks, anger laced with each word. The child's screaming fades as she's pulled farther away. I push past Luke and run after her.
"Nala!" He shouts chasing after me.
