to say that lando and aprils date had gone amazingly would be an understatement, the pair of them enjoying the time alone away from prying eyes and ears of their friends but also to get off the boat for a bit. however, because april and lando knew absolutely everything about the other, she had worries that it would almost be awkward incase they had nothing to talk but that wasn't the case; anything that came to either of their minds was talked about, but talking about work was quickly dismissed since they were on holiday.
lando had taken her out for a lovely meal, the restaurant they went to being hidden amongst the busy croatian streets, the entire atmosphere of it all being very romantic and lando had even bought her a small bouquet of flowers from a little stall after they left to go back to the boat.
"when can i meet your family?" april asked randomly, one of her arms supporting her flowers whilst the other was wrapped around lando's bicep, his black shirt clutching to the muscle which really made april weak at the knees.
"you've already met my family, love." his arm was around her shoulder, they were walking at a quick pace but still slow enough to take in the stunning scenery but also because aprils heels were starting to hurt a bit now.
"i mean properly and not when i'm in my work clothes or doing my job." she huffed playfully, smiling at people that walked past, even seeing one of them take a picture but she was unsure if it was of her and lando or of the streets.
"we can arrange it when we get back if you'd like?" april nodding happily at lando's offer, making his smile grow wider at her excitement to meet his family. "my mums been dying to meet you properly."
"awe has she?"
"yeah, whenever i go home to see them, she's always asking how you are and when you're going to join me one day."
"she's such a lovely woman, your dads lovely too." april had met lando's dad on many occasion and they got along well, adam could tell that she was suited for his youngest son, him always telling cisca anything cute that happened between lando and april.
"they're both so fond of you, they love you. don't even get me started on flo and cisca."
"i've only met them a couple of times though." despite this, the two norris sisters usually commented on her instagram posts, april never hesitating to do it back to theirs along with them dm'ing sometimes.
"cisca loves you, she's always asking me when i'm gonna bring you home or when i'm gonna ask you to be my girlfriend."
"that's two of us then." april murmered but wanting it to be loud enough for lando to hear, a part of her messing around whilst the other half was being completely serious. "i'm only joking, i'm not trying to pressure you into anything."
