ever since the video had gone viral on twitter and instagram, both lando and april had thousands of messages and comments flooding in every single day. neither one of them confirmed or denied the rumours, april obviously the professional in situations like this so lando knew it would be best for him to listen to her.
even though the video of them was taken from afar by a fan in the same beach club as them, it was still easy to tell that the people in the video were lando and april but they had never expected their privacy to be invaded like that. it was annoying that it had happened, especially since when it had been taken they were having the conversation that had been awaited for days, but in a way, they almost felt thankful that it was out there.
"lando, people can see us." April looked around, her voice in a whisper so that nobody around and behind them would be able to hear her along with landos actions.
"i don't care about anybody else, people are gonna find out sooner or later." the mclaren driver murmured back to the woman he loved, gently placing a kiss on her exposed shoulder as his thumb caressed her tanned stomach, the little action making the little butterflies in her stomach fly freely and widely.
"you do know that all of your fans will see the pictures and send both us of hate, me more than you." April tried to convince him whilst also trying to pry his hands off of her and as much as she loved to feel his touch, she knew that this was the wrong time and place for it.
"i want to be able to hold your hand in public and kiss you whenever i want without having to worry about people taking pictures of us."
"i want that too, more than you know." she reassured him, interlocking her fingers with his as they rested on her stomach, letting out a huff after doing so. "but this could really affect my job and i've given up too much to do what i love."
"you don't have to worry about your job, April." lando's voice was soft as April grew confused at his statement, many options running through her job. were they going to fire her? was lando going to tell her quit? would she have to leave to be with him?
"what do you mean?"
"zak and andreas are the biggest fans of us, they've told me multiple times that they can't wait for us to finally get together." hearing him say this made her physically and mentally relax, lando feeling her body almost go limp against his making him kiss her shoulder once again.
"you're honestly like their son, i love it." the Mancunian women giggled, leaning her head further back so that she was able to kiss him softly, the Croatian sun glowing over the pair of them like they had just entered one of the most glorious heavens; both of them forgetting that their friends were looking over in their direction and that videos were being taken.
