Summary: Marshall became a victim of bad luck and now he's even more clumsy as when he was a pup, so his friends must help him obtain good luck. Meanwhile, Sheldark has sent a new Cat Monster to curse Adventure Bay with bad luck and most of the Rangers have been captured by Mayor Humdinger.
In the Ranger's headquarters, the Rangers are doing some training. Skye and Everest are testing out their maneuvrer abilities by sparing a giant robot, Chase is testing his speed by dodging robot attacks and fighting back with his sword, Rubble is testing out his strength by lifting weights, and Marshall is testing his jump by going through a high obstacle course.
Chase: I like how Sheldon got these giant robots for us to practice on.
Rubble: Yeah. It's like I'm fighting for enemies smaller than what we trained for.
But then, Marshall passed the obstacle course with a perfect score.
Marshall: Oh yeah, new record right here!
Everest: Wow, Marshall, ever since we became humans, I haven't seen you slip or act clumsy at all.
Sheldon: That's because when Marshall became a Ranger, his new powers gave him enhanced coordination, so he won't be clumsy anymore.
Marshall: That explains why I don't crash into elevators anymore.
Skye: Oh yeah, and whenever he tries to avoid it, he just crashes again.
Marshall: I never want to be clumsy ever again. I mean, it's annoying now that I think of it.
Everest: We all do, Marshall.
Meanwhile, Sheldark is at his throne taking his anger out on the Superbaddies by torturing them with Rainbow Darkness.
Sheldark: How can this have happened! The Rangers are not Rainbow Knights yet they still have the courage and strength to defeat my minions!
Harold: I'm sorry, Master, maybe it was just luck?
Sheldark: Luck aye? Perhaps we have to change that. Mayor Humdinger, bring me a pair of rigged dice and a poker chip!
Mayor Humdinger: Yes master. Wait, what's are those?
Then Sheldark took a moment to explain those objects and what they're used for in real life.
Mayor Humdinger: I'll get them, master.
Sheldark: Hurry up! I've lost a lot of patience to explain what those objects are to you!
Then, Mayor Humdinger went to retrieve the items. After a short period, he came back with the rigged dice and the poker chip.
Sheldark: Well, it's about time!
Then Sheldark brought another kitten to turn into a Cat Monster.
Sheldark: Time to change the Rangers' fates. Misfortune spread your jinx to this city!
Then Sheldark used his power to combine the kitten and the gambling items into a Gambling Robotic Cat Monster called Misfortune.
Misfortune: RAHHH!!!
Sheldark: Misfortune, curse the Rangers so they'll be so unlucky that they can't stop us while they dodge for any misfortunes, it will make it easy to bend this city to their knees!
