Adi's POV
It's 2 in the morning here at L.A. I am now walking towards the airport's entrance. Currently waiting for my flight, finally deciding to go back in the Philippines after finishing my senior high school which is quite a long time now. I was ushered by my personal guard while entering the place.
Di ako laking Los Angeles. I was sent here for some reasons that I don't even bother to know.
"Agoncillo, thank you. You can now leave my things here.I'll just make a call to someone in the Philippines. Tapos yun palang nasa kahon doon sa van, ibigay mo na lang sa anak mo iyon. Regalo ko na lang" I said to my personal guard while dialing some numbers at my mobile phone.
He just smiled and bowed before turning his back on me.
"Hello?" I nervously said.
"Who the hell is this?" he asked exasperatedly.
"Can you fetch me up later? I booked a flight, I'm going back to the Philippines." I said on the other line of the phone.
"Bàba? Holy cow! Ngayon ka na ba uuwi?! Should I tell Manang to prepare your room?" eksaheradong sambit ni Elijah nang makilala ang boses ko sa kabilang linya.
He calls me Bàba because, according to him, baby Adrielle is too long that's why he got the word Bab in baby and letter A in Adrielle..in short Bab-A which he pronounced as Baba.
"Yes I am , Elijah..so please calm your ass down and nah, I'm good. I would stay at a hotel. Please do manage it for me."
"You sure?"
"Yes, Elijah. Thank you for your concern but I'm totally fine." I assured him.
"Does Sir Dela Cuesta know this?" he worridly said.
"Kailangan pa ba nyang malaman? Eh sukang suka naman sa pagkatao ko yun eh" sabi ko nang may bahid ng panunuya sa pangalang binanggit niya.
"A'ight. Kalmahan mo na. I'll never tell them about this. I got your back."
"Thank you, Jaja. I owe you this one."
