Hallie was broken-fractured if you will , stuck under the ruling of the tyrant who was her father- forever in the back of her mind fear that she was next, for it did not matter that she was his daughter- or so she thought.
Days melted into weeks & then months , but Hallie couldn't tell you anything she was numb to it all keeping up an act, for the judge, for the jury, for the police & the school- maybe even herself.
