"What was that about?" She asks, and I shake my head. "Can we go do something else? This asshole from college came and ruined my surfing." I hurriedly lift her to her feet, and grab her surfboard string, dragging it to our towels. "Sure. Let's get some lunch" K is confused, but goes along with my rush, grabbing the cart and scooting it up the boardwalk.
We end up going to a restaurant called Coffee Café. It was delicious, and hot coca in summer cooled me off. A relief Will isn't some stalker, and would follow us. The rest of the day, we explore the town, even parts Kaleah doesn't know. And no trace of that ass was there.
Except it felt weird, rushed at the beach, when everything was cool. But then again, it wasn't cool that Will showed up. I went to sleep after a few hours after our dinner, and my thoughts drifted away, and I shifted into my dreams.
