"NOW ASPEN. You better stay out of trouble this year. I mean it." Rowan King told her daughter as she pulled her into a tight hug.

"Mum." Aspen groaned at her mothers scolding. Each year she got the same "stay out of trouble" talk and each year she never obeyed. "We both know that's not going to happen."

"Yeah I know." Rowan sighed and pulled away from the hug with a frown. "I'm going to miss your sneaky ass trying to break out of the house thinking I don't know what you're doing every night."

Aspens mouth dropped open and her eyes grew wide. "You know?!"

"Oh darling a mother always knows." Rowan snorted as she reached over to smooth out her daughters curly hair. "A for effort though."

"Yeah whatever." Aspen groaned. "It's not fun if you know about it."

"Then maybe you'll stop doing it?" Rowan suggested with a hopeful smile causing the blonde girl to snort.

"In your dreams ma."

"OI! ASPEN BABY!" A voice yelled from across the station causing both Kings to turn their heads in that direction only to see Ace Kavan leaning against the train in all his glory.  "DON'T I GET A HUG?!"

Aspen let out a noise of excitement before hugging her mom one last time. "That's my cue Mum, see you on holiday!"

"Bye darling, have fun." Rowan smiled before quickly adding. "But not to much fun!"

"I'm an angel, I'm an angel!" Aspen smirked before kissing her mum one last time on the cheek and grabbing her stuff, not wasting any time before sprinting in the direction of one of her best friends.

Ace, deciding to meet her half way, stood up from his leaning position and took off, not slowing down until he had her in his arms and was spinning her  around.

"I've missed you!" Aspen told him as she pulled back to give him a smile, her feet still dangling in the air as he held her against him by her waist.

"Darling you saw me yesterday." Ace pointed out as he sent her a smile of his own.

Ace and Aspen met in their first year and instantly connected. Ace was funny and extremely outgoing, it was practically impossible to hate the boy who didn't have a mean bone in his body. Well, expect when it came to Aspen. It was a known fact that if you mess with Aspen, you don't only have to deal with Aspen but Ace as well. And their anger combined together was scarier than Lord Voldemort himself.

Aspen was a lot like Ace, funny and outgoing but willing to hurt anyone who messed with him or any of her other friends for that matter.

But while Ace was Hogwarts very own comedian she was its resident troublemaker. There were probably only about ten people left in their year that haven't yet fell victim to one of her legendary pranks.
