Squid Game (Pt.2)

[Third Person POV]

10 minutes passed by like a flash.

Once everyone has partnered up, the guards lead the teams to another room.

As the players enter the next room, they are amazed by its setup.

The setup resembles the neighborhood that the players used to live in as kids.

As soon as the setup reveled, people began brainstorming with one another about what the next game could be.

Both Lisa and Y/N had a particular game in their mind, but they weren't sure if they were right.

Soon enough, the pink-suit guards escorted all the teams, providing them each a tiny space in the alleys, filling up the whole neighborhood.

After all contestants were settled, a voice began blaring through the speakers.

"Welcome everyone to the fourth game. Today's game is being played in pairs. Your in-charge guard will now be passing you a tiny bag."

The guard that's assigned for Lisa and Y/N passes them a small bag.

Both girls opened the bag, reveling ten balls of marbles.

As soon as Lisa saw the marbles, she had a bad feeling in her gut.  

"As you can see, each bag contains ten marbles. The rules are pretty simple: both players will play any game of their choice with the marbles. As you play, you must try to steal your opponents marbles. The person who collects all their partners ten marbles will be the winner and your partner will be eliminated. You have 40 minutes to complete the games. Good luck!"

As soon as the announcement went off, everyone went off in a full panic mode.

Lisa opens her eyes wide as she glances over to Y/N who was kicking stones at the corner.

Lisa for some reason felt upset that only one of them could win and as much she wanted herself and Y/N to survive she knew there was no other way.

Before tears threatened to fall, she looked over to Y/N.

"What do you wanna play?" Lisa asked Y/N who just stared at her with a blank expression.

Y/N shrugs, "I don't know. Let me think of a game first then we'll play. But before that, let's establish something"

"What?" Lisa asked

"Let's just play one round okay? Winner takes it all. Simple. Deal?"

"Deal" Lisa said as Y/N smiled.

"Well that's done" Y/N said while stretching and sitting on the stairs.

"What are you doing?" We need to play.

"Damn, are you that eager to kill me already?" Y/N asked bitterly causing Lisa to feel a bit guilty.

"Kidding, kidding relax. Let's wait for a while, there's still lots of time and we're only playing one round." Y/N said while playing with the zipper on her jacket.

"If that's the case, what do you wanna do now?" Lisa asks Y/N.

Y/N smiles and pats the seat beside her.

"Let's talk...."
