prologue

Long ago A young girl went with her mother to pick berries for her father who was hard at work but the forest greeted them with a dark cold silence the bushes empty yet determined to find the berries the rascal broke free from mother's grasp and vanished into the trees mother's worried cries faded fast as the girl ran on over vine and under branch and into the forest deep feeling strange eyes behind her. The girl recalled mother's scary bedtime tales and her throat became bone dry. Then the bat lord appeared he greated her warmly and bit his own wing come child quench your thirst he said so she drank the thick dark blood and smiled with joy. Passing through a graveyard menacing storm clouds loomed and the air turned bitingly cold. The girl was shivering in her thing clothes, Then a dark weaver appeared and with a click of his fingers crafted mist into a beautiful dress. come child warm yourself he coaxed so she clothes herself and smiled with joy. Across waters deep and ominous she went hoping a boat she found would carry her home but hunger's grip tightend and her heart grew heavy Then The fish king appeared and offered one of his many fins come child eat your fill so the girl ate and smiled wth joy once more. Continuing on she soon entered the forest's dark heart Then an iron steed appeared bearing a beautiful golden gear The creature said nothing as the girl approached and snatched what she thought was another gift the horse grew angry and summond the other monsters. Terror filled the girl's heart as a wild win rose about the beasts. suddenly a witch appeared dark yet regal. Gifts we gave but more you took she snarled so more in turn is due. In a blink the girl was trapped inside a mirror

Its been awhile since what happened in dulvey louisiana with Ethan. I'm just trying to have a normal life. I quit dso with protest from everyone but I just rather be at home with kion. I just love being a stay at home mom. Though I do miss Leon when he goes on missions. Then again its not like Leon has a choice. I know Leon miss Kion and me. Not only that Leon's not young anymore. Well neither am i. Leon's a father a husband and an agent he's tired exhausted soon his back will break out or something. Overall Leon and I are doing okay we don't really have overtime if you know what I mean and he doesn't really take me on dates anymore but I know this how it goes in marriage when you have kids. Kion's such a good boy. He's getting good control of his powers he gets good grades and he's super nice. Is she a momma's boy. Of course he is. I carried him for 9 months. Life is good

Rona has a baked apple pie on the table "hello leon" Rona smirks. "did you make me an apple pie" Leon asks smiling. "yes" Rona smiles. "dad don't do it its a trap" Kion holds leon's arm. "he's right what do you want now" Leon asks. "I want to go on vacation winter break is coming up" Rona reveals.

"eat up dad" Kion hands him a slice. Leon chuckles "you don't have to bribe me babe sure" leon eats the pie. "Europe sounds fun" Rona gives him puppy eyes. "no dad no bora bora bahamas hawaii anywhere else dad" Kion raises his voice.

"oh no i'm int he middle" Leon gulps. "dad we have snow here we don't need more remember hawaii last summer fun beach fun dad" Kion gives him puppy eyes. "come on Leon we should do something different besides" Rona starts to whispers something in his ear.

Leon drops his fork "europe it is can I eat now". "no" Kion takes his plant and runs away. "kion" leon sighs. "there" Rona hands him another slice. Leon smiles "I don't know where I'd be without you". Rona kisses his cheek "well your never going to able to see that future" Rona walks away.

Time skip
"oh my god" Rona runs in with layers of jackets and sweaters with leon and Kion behind her. "I'm so cold" Kion hugs himself. leon shuts the door "I'll start a fire" Leon rubs hus hands together.

"thanks a lot mom" Kion crosses his arms angrily. "hey respect your mom" Leon sternly says lighting matches. "sorry mom" Kion hugs her. "its fine besides your going to love it" Rona reassures.

"does this place at least have tv" Kion asks. "No but I have your Ipad and download some movies and shows" Rona hands Kion his ipad. "yay" Kion jumps up and down. "but its late go to bed" Rona squeezes his cheek. "ugh fine goodnight" Kion runs upstairs.

Rona walks up to leon "hey" Rona smiles. "hey baby" Leon smirks. "I'll be in the bathroom wait for me" Rona smirks. leon gulps and nods. Rona walks in the bathroom. Leon sits on the couch and sighs in relief.

Time skip
Leon's drinking some wine by the fire. Rona walks out of the bathroom in a short winter coat"its been awhile" Leon smirks. "I know" Rona cuddles up next to him. "you cold" Leon asks. Rona nods. Leon wraps his arm around her "want me to warm you up" Leon leans in closes. "yeah" Rona smirks.

"don't ask me twice" Leon picks up and takes her upstairs. "Leon" Rona giggles.

The next day
Rona closes a book "village of shadow". "thats it" Kion asks. "there's more but your dad thinks that enough for the night" Rona replies. "aw come on dad" Kion gives him lip. "I'll read you the rest tomorow ok" Leon offers. "okay" Kion gets tucked in. "love you goodnight" Rona kiss his cheek and walks out.

"see you in the morning buddy" Leon kisses his cheek and walks out. "I don't want him having nightmares" Leon whsipers. "He picked it at the store today don't worry about" Rona smiles "warm me up again". "can you put on that outfit again what your wearing is hard to get off" Leon smirks. Rona giggles and nods

Time skip
Rona's wearing the same outfit from yesterday "happy now" Rona smiles. "yeah" Leon smirks as the lights shut off. "check the generator" Rona asks. "yea I'll be back" Leon grabs a flashlight and his gun. "be careful" Rona kisses him.

"don't worry I love you" Leon kisses her. "Love you too" Rona watches him go outside.

Time skip

Leon's taking forever I'm scared I hope he's okay

The door opens. "Leon I was so worried about you" Rona runs up to him. "yeah" leon hugs. "the generator" Rona asks. "Oh yeah coudln't fix it" Leon puts his hands on her waist slowly. "are you okay" Rona asks. "perfectly fine hot stuff" Leon smirks. "when do you ever call me that" Rona giggles.

"I'm in the mood why don't we go upstairs and-" Leon gets interupted by the knock on the door. Leon walks to the door while Rona walks off. Leon opens it "can I help you" Leon asks.

"leon" A male deep voice says. "chris" Rona questions from a distance. "oh yeah chris come in" Leon lets him in. "thanks Leon" Chris walks in as him and leon walk over to Rona. "I'm not doing a job neither is Leon were on vacation Kion is upstairs" Rona explains. "I'm not here for that" Chris looks at leon.

"ok why are you here" Rona asks. "I'm sorry Rona" Chris says. "sorry for-"Rona stops when she sees chris slit Leon's throat. Rona screams "leon". Leon falls to ground holding pressure on his neck "chris what the hell" Rona yells. "I'm sorry rona" Chris shoots Leon till he stops moving.

Rona cries and screams.

Time skip
Chris Made me change clothes into gear giving me a handgun and wetsuit after killing my husband how could he do this to me? How do I tell Kion?

A bsaa solider had a sleeping kion handing him to chris. "what are you doing you son of bitch" Rona yells. "Rona You wouldn't understand this" Chris has a tight grip on Kion.

"you just murdered my husband and taking my son you fuc-" Rona gets interupted by an Bsaa solider punching her making her vision go blurry then pass out
