you studied in a public school that offered uniforms for you to wear, oh right, you study in an all girls school
though an all boys school wasn't far, it was just in front of the school you study in, literally in front
your uniform was a black skirt that went passed the knees, a white short-sleeve button up and a navy blue tie, the male uniform had the same top and black pants and the same navy blue tie
you peeked into one of the classrooms and saw them chattering all about and some leaving to go to the quadrangle and hangout or sneak out of school and buy street food
one of the students noticed you and nudged a girl beside her "psst, Zayna, nandyan si (Name)" (she's here)she whispered
the girl turned to the door way and you waved at her, Zayna stood up and walked over to you, you wrapped your arm around your girlfriend who awkwardly smiled at you
"kumain ka na?" (did you eat yet?) you asked
"oo, ikaw?" (yeah, you?) Zayna asked as you both walked out of the school
"i did! so ano? ice cream tayo or...?" (do we get ice cream or...)
"ah, 'di ako nagugutom..." (oh, i'm not really hungry...)
you obviously sensed something was wrong with her, she was normally active and would have lovely replies to you, but she seemed off, silent and close minded today
you both were on your way to pick up your siblings from their school, both of you switched to holding hands and walking in the comforting silence
you both decided to pick up some simple snacks for your siblings, fish balls to be exact, which was conveniently right next to your school gate as you continued walking
that was when three boys were approaching you two
"hoy, Zayna, kailan ka free? baka naman" (hey, Zayna, when are you free?) he began to make sexual signs with his body towards her which pissed you off
you pushed his shoulder causing him to stumble back
"ano ba problema mo? diba wala syang ginagawa sayo" (what's your problem? he's not doing anything to you) one of his friends said
