but Takemichi had a smile on his face since he could finally see his girlfriend in the future, alive

"seriously, are you trying to pick a fight?" Takemichi raised a fist while his friend chuckled, unbothered
"does it really matter? we get to see my sister" he put his fist down at the reminder
"Naoto, i'm super excited right now, being able to see Hina in the present is like a dream" Naoto smiled, turning a corner then parking the car, they reached their destination and they both stepped out of the car
Takemichi looked up at the apartment building in front of him, was he ready to see his ex girlfriend again?
"i wonder if Hina's changed" the man questioned out loud
"of course she has, it's been twelve years since you two broke up, she's an adult now"
to Takemichi, it was almost unbelievable, he couldn't believe it's been that long since they spoke and wondered why he even broke up with her
"apparently, she teaches a grade school now" they both stood in front of the elevator as the man was astounded,
he then imagines a reunion with Hina, standing still like an idiot as Naoto waited inside the elevator, Takemichi snaps out of his little daydream scenario, as if something like that would happen!
Hina must be angry with him, even after twelve years especially after the break up, but Takemichi thinks that she was the one who broke up with him
the elevator dinged and they both stepped out
"Naoto..." the man turned around
"yes?"
"actually...i'm not going to see her after all" he backed out just as they were walking to her apartment
